Monday, November 01, 2004 1:03 PM 1st of all... I wanna say I am really upset over what had happened to the missing 8 years old girl... I don't know why I felt so affected. Her death is gruesome and cruel... how could someone do this to a little girl? Sometimes human can be pretty scary... But I STRONGLY believe this case isn't as simple as what we see from the surface... A small built guy like the suspect can't possibly do this alone... Ah well... We shall just speculate... Hope she is fine above us... -------------- Chucking the unhappiness aside, let's talk about the wedding dinner of my Couzie I attended yesterday. I woke up at 5am in the morning. We quickly get dressed and rush to my granny's place. My cousin is staying with my granny so the bridegroom was supposed to come over and fetch the bride. Hee... Kinda fun. My couzie's "sisters" came kinda early too. Bout 7am. The bridegroom arrived in a pink London taxi with his "brothers". As usual, the sisters have to find mean ways to make it difficult for the bridegroom to come into the house and see my couzie. I think they asked 10 questions include singing and asking him the location of their 1st date. It's a touching moment for them when they can finally see each other on their wedding day. Hee hee. Tea-drinking ceremony to their elderly cannot be missed. The gifts that they give the couple are so "wooooooo". Nice! I was busy washing cups after they offer the tea because we only have one pair of "dragon-phoenix" cup. Hee... After all the "compulsory" thingy, we have to get ready for the wedding dinner... Sister and I rushed to Plaza Singapura to have our make over at the JeanYip hup. God. It's really expensive. Mine was $115... while sister's was $100. The wedding dinner was at Hyatt Hotel's ballroom. The location is grand and nice. The food... hrm... ehem. Heh. But the overall wedding was really grand. My sister was busy recording the whole process with the DV while me trying to entertain the guest. Busy busy day! Everything ends by 11+. Was really tired when we reached home. Sister and I had a hard time trying to remove our makeup. I hate making up. If not because my couzie and I are close and the wedding dinner was a grand one, I will prolly go with my pale pale face. Heh. Have tons of photos to upload but imagestation is currently down. Will update in a while!
