At the end of the day... life isn't fair. Afterall.

This morning, I saw something tiny hopping around my office. I took a closer look, it's was a tadpole. One of our despatch was supposed to feed the arowanas today and this little tadpole manage to escape from the fish tank and hop into my room.
I didn't really want to bother about it because I was rather busy in the morning so I thought it will eventually hop away. It took quite awhile before it reaches this dustbin beside my desk and I took a closer look at it, the tadpole was stuck... being wrap up by a ball dust. (ok, my room IS dusty) I thought it's rather sad to see it died due to suffocation, so I pick it up with my bare hands (I used to play with tadpoles!) and brought it for a "shower". I let it go outside the window, with a puddle water. I went back to the spot, found it missing. Just hope that it leaps away to somewhere safer.
And so I was walking in and out of my Dad's office when I saw this dying parrot fish among the many parrot fish and a old arowana. I saw it in my own eyes how the dying fish slowly swam down to the bottom of the tank... lie on it's side way... and start gasping for air. Poor fish. I can't save it like how I save the tadpole. Sometimes it's not a good idea to place too many fishes in one tank.
Irony of life. I saved a tadpole but saw how a parrot fish struggled to stay alive, and died. Sigh.
