Updates...

I really hate it when people don't understand my well intention and thinks that they are ALWAYS right. No one is ALWAYS right. I really hate to be misunderstood. What a great way to start my morning.

没有人不要自己爱的人幸福。但我们唯一能做的就是,他幸福, 而不是帮他做选择。 幸福在自己手里。要争取,要放弃,只能自己做决定。

Enough of pissy stuff...

-------

And so last week was our 5th year anni... I was all ready to have a no celebration this time round but the hubsband insist on having a nice dinner together. We met at Steak Expert near our place.

While the husband was walking towards me, he was holding this paperbag that reflect the lights and literately glowing from far. Haha... and he got me a gift afterall! It's really nice because the husband was never good in giving surprise until we moved to HK. Maybe Hk got romantic air. :P

He got me the Agnes B tote that I always wanted to buy! Every time when I pass by the store, I will stop and look at it. Now, I don't have to look anymore. It's mine! Wee!

Oh that gloomy bear X Hello Kitty keychain is very cute! I pre-order it from strapya-world.com and seems like they don't have it anymore. But still, CUTE!

Earlier in the day, the husband called from office and our conversation goes like this:

Husband: Bee, what's the LV bag that you always like ah? My colleague wanna buy for his wife so he ask me for recommendation.

Me: Uhuh... don't bluff la... you use this tactic many times liao leh. Wanna buy for me is it?!

Husband: no lah, really he ask me for recommendation.

Me: I like the damier neverfull leh but not selling in HK yet how sia.

Husband: Har... any other models or not? Say leh...

Me: Trevi lor! But hor... almost 3k sgd leh. Damn expensive! But I prefer neverfull more leh... wait for they to release in Singapore then buy lor.

Husband: Ah okie lor...

Haha... the husband admit later that he really wanted to buy lv bag for me but since we going Japan for our long awaiting honeymoon (but we have yet to set a date! ><), we can get the neverfull from Japan! I can't wait! Not because of the bag la but because I can finally go to the land of Rilakkuma!

As for Trevi, I made a promise to myself that when I go back Singapore and start working again, I will save up for it myself. Hee I think I will cherish the bag even more if I buy it with my own hard earn money!

No, I didn't get him any gifts... I am trapped at home leh... But, having me as wife is already his biggest gift lor! :P Right right? Okie la, I paid for the dinner ma... I am not cheapskate. Hee. I will make it up for it la! It's the thought and effort that counts la not the gifts!

Weekend is finally here and I can finally step out of the house a do a little shopping. My shingles and allergy are about 80-90% recovered with some blotchy scar which I hope can clear up soon.

1st we had lunch at Mongkok's Langham mall, Match.too AGAIN. Totally love their pumpkin rice.

After lunch, we drop by Argyle Centre for the Kuma shop. Sorry I can't resist. Everytime I go Mongkok, I must drop by their store. And I must buy something from them because they always got new items when I'm there. Haha...

Wanted to help my Sister to get the korilakkuma hat/cape or whatever you call it... OH, the one I bought sometime back and I posted picture of it too. But it's all sold out so I bought a towel hairband for her and myself instead. I think the lady can totally recognise me now and she asked me if I want to pre-order any new stuff instead. Cute!

We left Mongkok and head toward Tsim Sha Tsui for Q-pot as I have reserved my pink iphone case and it's ready for collection!

I really hate going to Harbour City because it's sucha long walk from the MTR station! If not for the fact that Q-pot only has one and only branch and it's located at such ulu place, I won't even want to visit the place. Plus the mall is so goddamnblardy huge that it took us like 20 minutes to walk from the main entrance to the Toyrus.

After TST, we took the train and head to Causewaybay for the husband's haircut. We had an hour to burn so we rot outside of Timesquare and people-watched. Harhar.

The husband's haircut always take very long leh. 3 hours! The salon is always so busy and even if you had reservation with them, you will still have to wait. -_- Seems like a reverse thing huh... I hardly make my husband wait because I don't do manicure (unless on special occassion and even if I do, I won't want him to tag along), I don't have haircut often, at most twice a year and I will do it with the husband so he don't have to wait for me. So I guess it's not a bad thing to marry a notsovain and notsogirly wife afterall.

The iPhone case is quite a bitch to fix... a little too snugfit. But still very pretty! Only problem now is it can no longer fit into my Kuma cellphone pouch. :( So sad... shall see what I can do!

And I have also finally fixed the winkplay sticker on my laptop. Almost the same way I did to my old laptop but since the surface is bigger, I stick more on it. Nice or not!

Tricia, the SA of Q-pot told me it's a little too big for itouch 1st gen as the iphone is somewhat thicker and longer. And also there are holes on the case for features on the iphone which itouch don't have so it may pose problems like dust and scratches? But because we don't have itouch to test it out we don't know how loose it may be... hope this helps!

Hong Kong's weather suddenly turned cold again for the past 1 week and it's freezing us up. But I love it this way. Hoho... 冬眠 time!

Happy Chinese New Year!
Friday, January 30, 2009 1:01 PM

So this is the 5th day of CNY already. How time flies man. We flew back to SG and now again back to HK. This trip was a mad rush and I hate myself for not able to meet up with more of my friends and spend more time with my family. Hope the next trip will be better!

[230109]
Flight was at 810pm. Gotta wait for the Husband to knock off at 615pm and rush home to change and rush to take the airport express to HKIA. Wah lau practically running with hugeass lugguage and haversack. Mai siao siao lor. Damn heavy okie.

Thank goodness we make it on time for check-in but no time for dinner. Grab some chips from Muji to munch in the plane. United Airline only provide sandwich for meals la. But still love their service.

Touchdown around 12 midnight. The in laws came to fetch us and we had Ba Chor Mee at the Terminal 3 foodcourt. Not bad!

[240109]
The Husband sent me to my parent's place in the morning. It's my Mum's birthday! But the poor her gotta make Kuey Lapis on her big day but this year is better as Dad took time off from work to help her out. Very proud of my parents. They are not only good at dping business but also good in the kitchen. Hee.

Me and my Sister were given the permission to escape from the baking. So she accompanied me to town for my last minute cny shopping! Thanks to my sister for helping me to make an appointment at the Browhaus for eyebrow trimming. Got it done rightaway and we pop by Star three Sixty for shoes shopping!

Never expect myself to buy anything from there until I saw the Onizuka Tiger X Tokidoki sneakers for ladies! How can I resist it when my size is available too! Managed to pursuade my sister to get a pair of OT sneakers at the same time but not the Tokidoki series. Good for her also because the Tokidoki one is not very feet-friendly. If you know what I mean...

I also spotted a pair that suits the Husband too. Very tempted to buy for him but it's better that he try them on before getting them. So later in the evening, the Husband joined us in town and bought them after trying! Wee couple sneakers!

hoho! Love them!

My besties and I + Sister decided to meet up for a short lunch in town that afternoon!

Love them to bits! They don't mind running around with me after lunch to buy my stuff. Feel very bad that I didn't have much time to interact with them. I guess this are what besties are for! It's the company that matters! :)

Very happy to see them actually. We used to meet up very often before I move to HK and now I will try my best to meet up with them everytime I fly back! I hope I have time to meet up with the rest of my friends too!

I have mention earlier on that my old laptop is giving way... decided to get a new one in SG and fell in love at 1st sight with the new Sony Vaio pink CS series laptop! Wanted to get it at the Paragon Sony Gallery but they only have one last piece of pink and there are many cosmetic defects! (Wah that salesman still wanna smoke me into buying it! ><)

So my sister and I plus the besties "dash" over to Taka's Best and see if they got stock for the pink. After much hesitation... (also duno for what la!), I decided to get it!!

SO pretty can!?!?!? It comes with free case and wireless mouse and free upgrade to 4gb ram! Mai siao siao lor. The speed is flying, unlike my old one... But still love the old pink leh. Aiya cannot have the best of both worlds la. Anyway this laptop is a gift from my mum again. It's funny how she give me presents on her own birthday but I guess it makes her happy that I am happy too. Plus she knows the importance of the laptop now since it's the only way she can see me everyday when I am in HK! Very grateful towards her generousity! Shall make this as my last year birthday gift. :P Thanks Ah Mi!

After getting all the stuff I need in town, we parted with my besties and sister + I waited for the Husband to reach town while we alter the watches straps at Tag.

We made reservation at Jumbo @ Kallang IS to celebrate mum's birthday. Seems like we always have seafood when I am back to SG. Hee... I know they are trying to accomdate me! So sweet!

I love my mum because she is simply the best! Hope I will be able to be by their side everyday soon!

Every trip back, I never fail to felt loved by them. My mum will bring me to eat my favourite food, my sister will bring me around to get the things I need without any complains and my dad will always show how pleased he is when we have the chance to eat together at the same table. That morning, he bought me Nasi Lemak, not one but 2 packets with my favorite sunnyside up egg. It's all this little gestures that matters. :) Very very blessed.

After cake cutting, the Husband and I left my parents place and head back home to prepare for battle with the ZZZZ monster.

Left home and reached HA & Jas's place around late 10-ish pm. The loving couple invited us and a few more couples for a gathering at their place. It was a mad night of Wii, Mahjong, Makan and drinks. Laugh until I almost turn voiceless. Left their place only at 830am the next morning.

[250109]
Got home and zonked off almost immediately when we hit the bed. If not with that look on my face, even ghost will be scared off by me, needless to say 财神爷。

Had reunion dinner at home as my in laws had prepared steamboat and invited some of the relatives over. Helped out when we both woke up from our naps and dinner started late in the evening.

Miss having dinner with my parents... Sigh. But I guess that's how married life is. Not that I am complaining... but tradition do sucks a little.

Feeling very sleepy whole day but I have to 守岁 for my parents so I must tahan!! Thank goodness 12am came swiftly and I fall into my deep deep sleep...

[260109]
Woke up very early that mornin as my in laws have the habit to visit the temple on 1st day of CNY. Didn't have time to use all my make up la so just slap some bb cream on and some blusher. (Both work like a charm!)

Basically it's temple > Marina Square > Movie (Love matters is a CRAPPY SHOW FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!) > home > Pop by my grandma's place for a short while > dinner at his uncle's place

The Husband's auntie can make really nice meesiam leh! It's been a long time since I had one!

[270109]
Yay! Finally can visit my family on the 2nd day! Had my favourite mee sua!! It's definitely something I look forward to every CNY!

Didn't stay for very long also because they gotta go to relatives place for visiting while my in laws booked KTV for the afternoon...

So spent the afternoon from 2-6pm at the KTV and left for dinner together with my parents and Sister @ Rolands. The in law's treat. Too bad we didn't had seafood... (Rolands but no seafood!?!?!?!? Guess we had quite enough for my mum's celebration...)

[280109]
Our flight back to HK is at 640am so we gotta leave for airport at 440am. Total madness. Thank god for the in laws for their ride. We have time for breakfast (like a super early one) at Delifrance and board the plane after that. Reached HK and back home by 12pm and throw everything into the washing machine, unpack the bags and take a nap to recover our lost sleep.

And there we are... back to our normal routine in HK.

I will be taking a short break from blogging as I have 4 songs pending to be done... and I am still trying to get used to the new laptop's keyboard.

So before I go, here's my favourite family picture for this CNY. :)

Have fun everyone!

With love, from Husband!
Friday, November 21, 2008 1:34 PM

After a week of wait, the surprise is here!

My very own iPhone! Our couple phone! My wedding gift! *cry* My Dopod D810 have been with me for 2 years already! My longest life phone ever. But it's dying on me slowly. Keep hanging and battery drain off within a day. Didn't managed to recontract with Singtel to get the iPhone previously because I used my plan to get it for the husband instead. See I so nice. :P

Actually the courier came a week ago but the phone suffered from quite abit of scratch so apple sent another courier over to pick up the item and took them almost a week to send me a new one. Nevertheless no complain because I don't even have to step out of my house to get it exchanged.

I have been thinking about getting Nokia E71 but hesistated because of the size of the keyboard. I got fat fingers which can easily press 2 buttons instead of 1! ><

The husband keep stopping me from getting E71 and ordered the iPhone online for me instead! Woo!

Note: Hk is the only country (from what I heard?) that sells iPhone 3g on their online store without having to attach to any mobile plan. One of the very few reason why I like HK now. Hee.

Totally love my phone! With that irresistible pink case... I am waiting for the moshi ipouch to reach my mail box! I am quite anal about minor scratches so I need case + pouch to feel safe. :/ Installed quite a number of games and transferred musics from the shuffle into the iPhone. Also loaded 3 kuma videos!

Weather in HK gets colder this week. But I forsee the temperature will go up next week. Quite crazy because it's supposed to be winter this period but we can never trust the forecast again. The world have obviously changed... especially the climate.

The husband's company organise a trip tomorrow to Shenzhen for golf and meals and wives are invited too. Finally a short outside HK after 6 months. Yay! Can wear the couple jacket the husband bought for us yesterday!

Oh happy day!

Finally!
Tuesday, July 22, 2008 10:21 AM

My pinko is up and running again. All thanks to my sister who dhl me my recovery disk. HEE!

Just when I thought things were bad enough last week, our TV sudden had a slight pop and burning smell released from it. UGH were kinda worried that it will blast but seems like it's okie now... better hope it's okie la since I am infront of it now. Haha...

And then it was my website... down for like don't know how many blardy hours. I hope namecheap will keep a record of how many downtime their clients suffered from. It's really tiring to report to them every single time and not them trying to resolve it themselves...

Okie let me clear up some final installation before I blog more!

Yes! My new toy is the uber cool Ricoh's new Gr Digital, GRD II! Jueline actually guessed it right! :P

I have been lemming for the older version of GRD about 2 years back but didn't get it because of the price.

After I own a dslr, I still drool at the sight of a GRD... so when Ricoh release a new generation, I knew I gotta get it!

Not sure why but alot of dslr user likes to get a Ricoh (GRD or GX100) as a backup camera. Guess it's because they look like a mini version of a SLR. Hee.

I hate to say this but once you hold a GRD, all the rest of the compact camera (except for Leica M8!) are craps.

GRD is indeed the best PnS camera ever! (ok, maybe IMO. :P)
