Visitors from Singapore
Friday, September 25, 2009 11:00 AM

For the past few days, I was trying to self cure the irritating throat of mine. It started with the silly me choking on orange juice which I think somehow hurt my throat. It got worse on Sunday as my throat felt like sandpaper and swallowing saliva felt like swallowing sand instead.

Thanks to the lovely Husband for getting Honey and Gui Ling Gao Herbal Jelly (is there a actual name for it? Turtle Jelly? haha!), I felt so much better today. Woohoo no need to see doctor!

[160909 - The arrival]
On the 16th, my Sister and Jeff fly over to HK from SG to have a short holiday and we decided to play host and house them at our place. Hope they won't mind our small but cozy little adobe!

Met them at the Kowloon Airport express station. I was super early so decided to settle my lunch there. Bought 16 mini siew mais (I am obsessed!) and bought the smarties mac flurry too to satisfy my hunger pangs. :D~

By the time we reach my place, it's pretty late already so we catch a train to IFC mall, shop a little at Zara before meeting the Hubby for dinner @ Yung Kee.

(trying out new PS action but pictures turn out a little too blue-ish. -_-)

LOVE THEIR FRIED RICE TO THE MAX! Sigh make me wonder why there are such great delicacy around!

My sister suggest that we should get a drink since we are already in Lan Kwai Fong. The Hubby and I have never patronize any of the bars there before can you believe it, after staying here for so long? Anyway we just grab one and walk in because they all look the same to me. Haha! But we were pretty lucky because Insomnia @ LKF have live band that day and we are in the midst of happy hours so beers were cheap!

The next 2 days, Sister and Jeff went to Disney and Ocean Park on 2 seperate occasion. I am amazed because I don't think I can live without sparing some time for shopping. Haha! Nevertheless I am glad they had fun at the theme parks!

[190909 - Big Buddha & Jumbo Kingdom]
We woke up pretty early to accommodate the travelling time we have to spend on the bus up to the Big Buddha. NP360 was closed for maintance so no choice but to take the Lantao Bus. Talking about suayness... The last time Ailing mei was here, they were closed to. -_- I am THAT close to puking due to motion sickness.

After offering respect, we had the vegetarian food as breakfast+lunch (What you call that? Brunch?) which was fantastic. Love the cold beancurd!

Another dreadful bus ride back to TungChung from big buddha but this time I pop a motion sickness pill just in case. Phew.

Sister and Jeff spent sometime in Citygate while the Husband and I went to collect my online purchase. We met up at Mongkok so they can buy the famous Hang Heung old wives biscuit. As usual... they bought a WHOLE LOT. Haha... the Husband is quite scared of it already. Won't go into details!

Since it's still early, we decided to take a cab back to our place to drop off our barangs, freshen up before going for dinner @ Jumbo Kingdom.

To make our way to Jumbo (@ Shum Wan pier), we have to take a train from Olympic Station to Hong Kong Station, switch to bus 75 at the interchange which take a long time to reach.

To be honest, I am never into fine dining for seafood. SEAFOOD WHAT! Must eat with hands, which can be super unglam.

Anyway I was very pissed throughout the whole dinner because I really dislike the attitude which the waiter gave us. I am known to be a sucker for good service and I know in order to have good service, I have to be nice to who ever serve me too. 将心比心的道理我还懂! But this particular waiter was so rude that I don't think I can just let it go. We may not be dressed in formal outfit, but at least we are not sloppish! And YES, we are not WHITE skin-ed. Don't have to be so nationality-cist. We also got money to pay one okie?! SO what we take a long time to choose what to eat? We are not sweating at the price of YOUR menu but instead, we are rolling eyes at how common and unattractive your dishes are. UGH!

I really regret agreeing to eat at Jumbo. Should have travel slightly further to Sai Kung to eat instead. Look at the Cheese Lobster from Jumbo and compare them to the one I had in Sai Kung. You pay for a premium but get lousy dishes and attitude.

So please. if anyone of you are thinking of eating at Jumbo Kingdom, please think THRICE. Other than the outlook, nothing else is fantastic! Go Sai Kung eat better!

Sorry for being so pissed. Thou I didn't enjoy the dinner itself, I enjoyed the company very much.

After dinner, we went back home and had a few rounds of mahjong before we call it a day. Being angry really drain my energy faster. -_-

[200909 - Dim Sum & the couple leaving HK]

Thou we slept late the night before, we make it a point to wake up early so we can enjoy some nice dim sum together before parting ways with my Sister and Jeff.

It's my 1st time trying the Federal Palace @ Olympian City. It's pretty good but I still prefer Tao Heung thou. Federal Palace have more variety of dim sum and some with interesting names... like 我不是春卷。 Haha... we can't hold back your curiosity and ordered one to find out what exactly it is. To those who have tried Bosses Restaurant (黑社會 @ Vivo City, Singapore) they actually have this dish as complimentary starter dish. Not sure if they still does that now but the last time I went, which was really quite sometime back, they do.

Had a great time at Dim Sum thou all of us were feeling extremely lack of sleep. Haha...

The Husband have to go for his usual basketball game so the remaining 3 of us shop around at the mall before making our way back home. Sister and Jeff's flight was scheduled at 230pm IIRC so they have to leave my place at about 12pm. Send them down to the concierge to call a cab.

Hope my Sister and Jeff enjoyed their stay!

I am going to the SOGO Sale tomorrow! Don't know if I can find any good deal but the thought of stepping out of the house excites me!

I am back! The Move + MY Birthday!
Thursday, August 27, 2009 10:28 AM

Too much rest makes me feel lazy about editing the pictures and putting words together to blog. Haha...

So continuation to my previous post, we were given less than 1 month to look for a new place and move out entirely. After the 3 viewing with agent 1, I was desperate enough to look for another agent from a not so famous property website, Landspert. I got the Husband to call him up but we were a little skeptical because according to the Husband, he sounded really unfriendly. Uh huh...

That very night, we viewed 3 units. The 1st one was... small beyond words. Even smaller than the unit we choosen. Plus the view was directly at old building. Dark and doesn't feel right.

2nd unit was quite normal... no wow factor and not exactly the cleanest.

3rd unit is the unit we set our eyes on. Sitting at level 51, the night view was fansinating. Thou it's not harbour or sea view, the city view towards Mongkok is vibrant with lighting and busy roads. It's not stuffy and certainly bright with no buildings blocking. The condition of the house is almost brand new. Given that the building is only 2 years old and the landlord have refurbish and repaint the entire house after the previous tenant have left.

The only concern we have is, 51 floor and the asking price for the rent. We didn't say yes on the spot at the price as we have asked the agent to nego for a lower rent with the landlord. Initially our budget was the same amount as the previous apartment but we know it's like asking for the moon at this apartment. We managed to nego to the price where both of us are satisfied. Thou another interested party was willing to pay slightly more than us but our advantage was able to move in immediately!

Photos of the apartment...

And so we did it. Found the right unit, clean up over the weekend, book a van, move some things over, got the professional mover to move more stuff over, settle down comfortably all within 2 weeks. It was quite crazy la. Thou we only been in Hong Kong for 1 year plus but the among of things to move is... insanely ALOT.

We are definitely loving this unit. Confirm better than the previous silverfish + springtail + rotten toilet cabinet + rainwater sipping thru the wall + clogging pipes apartment. The other day we tried taking a bus to Mongkok at the bus stop near our place and it take less than 10 minutes to reach. Fast and cheap!

No moved in pictures yet. Must wait for the Husband to take nice ones to justify the place. Haha...

[15.08.09 - Kitty Lab Show]
The long await Kitty Lab show is here! It happened on the same as the day we went to sign the tenant agreement for the new apartment. It was quite a mad rush for us but we still find it kinda enjoyable.

Thou they didn't allow us to take pictures, we still manage to steal some shots before being told to keep our cameras away. Ugh. The games there was rather kiddy but I guess that's the whole point.

Really thankful to the Husband for accompanying me there. I think boredom is driving him crazy but what's more important than seeing that smile on my face? :P

[21.08.09 - Gary Chaw Concert]
August is my month so naturally it's super happening. The Husband bought us tickets to Gary Chaw's Hong Kong concert. My 1st concert in HK and it's the Husband's favourite singer. Love his voice and he is really attractive on the stage. Definitely worth every bucks of the ticket!

[22.08.09 - IT'S MY BIRTHDAYYYYYY!]
My aim for this year birthday is to keep it low and enjoying it with my love ones in peace. That's why I removed my dob from my website, facebook and friendster (yes i am still using it! HAHAH!). It's sorta test to see how many friends actually really remember my birthday la. :P Well it seems like facebook does play a big part for remembering friends' birthday.

Nevertheless, the Husband still managed to surprise me with a pair of tickets back to Singapore to celebrate with my family and my besties. BEST GIFT EVER!

After knowing that I will be going back to SG, I told my sister and told her that I wanna surprise my parents by appearing at the door without them knowing.

My mum has the habit of calling me every morning and because its my birthday she will even call me earlier to wish me happy birthday. But she couldn't get thru me because I was on the flight flying back to SG with my phone off. When I touched down, I called her back telling her that I was at Ocean Park and suffering from bad phone reception. HAHAH.

We rushed back to the Husband place and put down all barang barang, took a cab back to my parents place and pressed the door bell.

And there was my mum, opening the door and starring at me for a good 5 seconds before realising that she isn't dreaming. That look on her face is priceless! Should have taken a photo of her. HEE.

Stayed around for a while before heading to Central to meet Ling and her boyfriend + Damien. Thanks for remembering my birthday and the super pretty teeshirt! And also thanks to Wendy, April, Linus and Wansheng for the gift!

Went back home from Central and catch up with my family before going to my favourite Min Jiang for dinner!

How can anyone not love Min Jiang?! They serves the BEST chinese cuisine! Yums!

After dinner, we went back home to cut my cake and off I go to meet my girls at ICB! Thanks to Jie and Jeff for sending me there!

I miss my favourite girls! They are the best friends everyone wished for. Nothing about them I don't love and that explain why we have been so close for so long! <3

Pardon for the lousy picture. The place was exceptionally dark and noisy. Haha... we had a hard time trying to speak to each other but the chicken wings are oh so good! Will definitely go back there... when there is no soccer showing on tv. :P

After beer and wings, we went back to the Husband's place to play mahjong! The Husband is already in the midst of his game with his buddies so we girls played in the room instead. Had so much fun playing, bitching and laughing over crazy things.

Before the clock strike 12, I cut my 3rd cake with everyone, thanks to JR! :)

We ended our game around 4am and off we go to catch some precious sleep!

[23.08.09 - Steamboat!]
In the morning, we took a bus to Bedok to have lunch. I had my favourite heartland chicken chop while the Husband had fish soup. We went over to visit the Husband's grandma and spent a few hours there. :)

After leaving ah mah's place, we took a bus to Eunos and took a train to cityhall. The Husband shopped and happy to see him smiling from ear to ear!

At about 5 plus, we head towards Bugis to meet up with the besties for our steamboat dinner.

Love the steamboat! A whole lot of variety of food. Since it's buffet so we eat until siao. Surprise that there isn't much food wastage. I think the waitress there also got a shock at the amount of food we ordered. :P

See the lovely photobook they did for me? Thou I really hate the cover picture (look at THOSE elephant thighs -_-), I love the content of it! I still smile whenever I look at it now. Amazing effect that will never go off!

Thanks for the flower, the superb durian cake and the photobook my besties! Muah!

We hop over to 记得吃 for some durian dessert after the mind blowing, sweat inducing dinner. SUPER WHOLESOME LA! I was a little sad that I couldn't eat the need-to-pry-open kind of durian but the dessert at 记得吃 is good enough to make up for my loss. LOVE IT!

After dessert, before we all say good bye, I suggested taking photostickers. Thank god the photosticker shop was still open! We are the last customers I guess.

Love you guys!

[24.08.09 - Flying back to HK]
As usual good things doesn't last... but beautiful memories will stay in my heart!

In the morning, my sister came and send us to the 四马路 temple and afterwhich we went to Kiliney Kopitiam to say hi to my uncle and auntie. Had my favourite french toast and curry chicken. Super sinful haha...

Sister brought us to ION to take a short walk while waiting for the 包s we bought to be ready. Wah just 1 year away from SG and now so many shopping malls sprouting out.

Went back to my parents office, slack around until it's time to go to the airport. Flight at 4 and reaches HK around 8.

Was supposed to be expecting Ikea delivery but forgotten that we will not reach home in time to accept it, we got the concierge at our apartment to receive it for us. By the time we reach our lobby, we were told that they received our Ikea items already and will send to us shortly. I was thinking, woah... very good service!

About 10 minutes after we got home, the door bell rang and the Husband opened the door. There standing a bell boy, with a bellboy cart filled with our Ikea items. Wah lau I think they are damn exaggerating but nevertheless I am super impressed with the management here. Haha... CEO living leh mai siao siao!

My favourite part is here. Presents!!!! <3

Not all are birthday presents but gifts from friends and sister when they went overseas or just think I deserve them. :P I love them alllllll!!! There are my BB Bold, my favourite Rilakkuma (a whole lot!!), Tokidoki and DIY items! I can never get enough of them!

This year I told the Husband that I don't need any fanciful gifts already. But he still went ahead to order the Kitty Lab X Moov.hk plush toy. To think that he worried I might scold him. -_- I love it so much lor!!

Thou I am not blessed with good brain and looks, I am certainly very much blessed with family, friends and a wonderful husband who loves me inside out! Everyone was telling me how good my Husband is. YES I KNOW! :P I am indeed a very very lucky girl.

Once again, THANK YOU ALL SOSOSOSOSOSOSO MUCH!! Can't wait to see you guys again back in Singapore! MUAH!

Backdate events + Our Tokyo Honeymoon!
Monday, June 22, 2009 6:56 PM

Sometimes I wonder how cabin crew feels about spending so much time in the air, flying. After every flight, I bound to feel like I am falling sick and too tired to get my ass moved after I got back home.

Nevertheless after we touched down on the Saturday night, we quickly unpack all the stuff and throw all smelly laundry into the basket to get them washed the next day.

Before I start showering my blog with plenty of peektures...

Wishes my wonderful Dad, my Father-in-law and all the fathers out there, A Happy Belated Fathers' day! :)

[05.06.09]
Woke up extremely early in the morning so I can make it in time to get out of the hosue with the hubby as I need to go to the immigration to collect our visa extention. Yes, we are here for a year already! Damn fast okie?!

I swear the weather was killing me. Thank god I made an appointment to collect my visa if not I will have to queue to wait for my turn! Thou it still took me about an hour to get hold of the visa, at least I am queuing in the aircon area. :P

After leaving the immigration, which is located at Yau Ma Tei, I had a hard time trying to get outta the place. YMT is known to be "messy" so I am a little worried about getting lost. I got there by a cab from Mongkok but I need to go to IFC Mall for the Miu Miu sale and non of the cabs are willing to get over to HK Island. After a while, a kind cab driver offer to send me to Central Station. And he doesn't want to accept my money! Wah... I tell you, ever since I moved to HK, I hardly get to meet with nice people so it's definitely a pleasant encounter.

And you think I will 占 the cab driver's 便宜? Please lor, before I leave the cab, I quickly place my fare onto the seat and left.

My main aim at the Miu Miu sale is of course to buy things! :P Here are what I lug back home after a battle with the hot weather:

Miu Miu is having 40% off and they actually have coffer on sale! Goodness...

And you think that all are mine? I wish lor! Haha... I got the bags on behalf for my girlfriends... and I only bought the bagcharm la... Thou I very much wanted to get this pretty wallet which was on sale too but decided to forgo it and spend on my japan trip instead.

[06.06.09]
Woke up early once again (or should I say I never sleep at all?!) because I am super paranoid about missing my flight. -_-

Touch down in Singapore at about 11am or so (can't remember already) and rush back home to place our baggage. Rest for a while before Sister came to fetch us to AMK. The Hubby got his new toy finally and we had lunch together with Wansheng who came along to give advise on the new toy.

Dinner time was spent with my parents and we had a sumptuous dinner @ Dempsey's Jumbo. But my stupid gastric is acting up and I can hardly enjoy the dinner. :( Hate it!

I miss my family. It's amazing how they kept me going even if we are so far apart.

After dinner with my parents, the hubby rush back home to have his gathering with his friends while I rush over to KJ's place for our gathering + Hui Huang's birthday celebration. No collage yet because I look super unglam in them! :P But those in my Facebook should be able to view them by now. HEE!

Thank you buddies for remembering my love for the sotong cheeseball. Looking forward to the next one and more cheeseball to come! <3 <3

[07.06.09]
Again another sleepless night where the hubby and I gotta wake up early to help out at Gayyong & Junie's wedding. I swear all the sleepless night is breaking me apart! It's all showing on my face la! ><

But nevertheless I enjoyed being part of their wedding because the groom is super "on" while the bride is really natural and being very much like herself, which I think it's very nice!

After the morning session, the hubby and I rush back home to catch some sleep so that we will have energy for the wedding dinner which is happening later that evening. We woke up and went to Parkway Parade for a little shopping and got my new toy! We are both shiny happy people who are happy with their purchase. :P

The Wedding dinner was held at Grand Copthorne and I love the ballroom to bits! If I have seen their ballroom before I decide on Oriental, I might had a hard time deciding between the both of them. Plus the food was really good too! Love the surprises that the couple gave each other and to their parents. And totally love the bride's evening cheongsam!

[08.06.09]
Woke up early AGAIN and got my new toy changed (found some defects on it. :() and we had the delicious hokkien mee at Suntec City! WOoooooo!

Drop by my Dad's office to see my parents and my dearest Sister send us to the airport. Touch down in Hong Kong @ about 9plus pm... Dead tired...

[09.06.09 - 12.06.09]
The in laws are in HK so I spent sometime with them and met up with the Hubby for dinner together. As usual shopping with the MIL and enjoying the luxury of their hotel suite... amazing.

[14.06.09 - 14.06.09]

Our Honeymoon......

I am still trying to recall all the places we went! Haha... please give me somemore time and check out the next entry! <3

Our short trip back to Singapore
Wednesday, March 25, 2009 8:35 AM

[Day 1]
Flew back home on a Saturday morning. Woah the queue at the airport is insanely slow moving. Even when we got to the airport early, we end up with no time for breakfast. Spent like 20Sgd for crappy food onboard. -_-

Touch down Singapore in the noon and my Sister with her SO, Jeff came to fetch us. Thanks dears!

Had uber late lunch at Siglap's Thai Express (oooo my curry soft shell crab rice!) and went back home to unload our baggage. Rested for 2 hours or so, Sister came and fetch us back to my parents' place and zoom to Fatty Restaurant for dinner. Too much food!! But nevertheless great company! :)

[Day 2] The Husband left home really early that morning but I didn't manage to sleep in because by the time I got up to help him prepare, my eyes are wide open already. :/

Wanted to flag for a cab along the road but realise I just step on someone/animal POO o m g what luck! I was hestitating if I should board that cab which is approaching me incase I stink it. Tried to get rid most of them by brushing against the grass but realise I had some stuck on my blardy feet. Gawd.

I swear I underestimate the smell of poo because it really stink up the entire cab in no time with just a wee bit of them stick to my feet! I got really embarrassed and decided to confess it to the cab driver. Haha... and he was nice enough to offer me some car spray deodorant to wipe off whatever left on my sandals and feet. Damn I should totally buy lottery that day.

Thank god the journey wasn't that long and so I make a quick dash back to my parents' place and "disinfect" my feet right away.

It has been a reallyyyyy long time since we had breakfast together. Just me, my parents and my sister. Before I got married, we always takeaway breakfast back home to eat instead of having it outside. Especially Kuey Chap! That morning I suggested that we should eat out at the kuey chap stall that literally grew up with me. Haa!

Love breakfast like these. And I hope I have more quality time with my family soon again.

Sister and I had some girly time together. We 1st make a trip to my maternal grandma place to pass her the 老婆饼 I bought from Hk that she love. I felt really bad because I didn't even manage to see her during CNY. The last time I saw her was on my wedding last Nov! I really love her because she is always there to take care of me when something crops up in the family. And I remember how she wanted to give me and my sister the best toys she can find. A truly admirable old lady. :)

Did some shopping at Suntec and Marina Square and we hopped over to Town next to get my heels and clutch bag for the dinner.

It was quite a mad rush because I was supposed to meet up with the Husband at 7pm in Town but we only left Town at 5 plus and I need to get back home, shower, makeup, change and get back to Town before 7pm. Thank godness for the Sister to send me back and fro. I doubt I can ever make it by taking cab. Thanks jie!

The dinner ended pretty late and it's already way past midnight by the time we got home. Nevertheless we had a great time!

[Day 3] We visited the Husband's grandma in the morning. Haven't seen her for quite awhile too and I am glad she is recovering well from the accident she met a few months back. (curse the reckless and irresponsible cyclist! Grr!)

Again, Sister fetch us to and fro everywhere and really thank god for her!

After loading our baggage in the car, we went to Killiney Kopitiam @ Killiney road to have breakfast+lunch. I had curry chicken with Prata, the husband had laksa and my sister had french toast with halfboil egg. ^^ Very very very yummy!! We had some Kaya, complimentary from my uncle for the husband to distribute out for his HK colleagues. Hope it serve as a form of advertistment for them too!

After food and while time still allows, we went back to my Dad's office and kill sometime. Finally get to see my Dad's new arowanas. I still can't agree on putting 2 together but as long as my Dad likes it this way...
:)

Precious time flies when you least wanted it to happen. It's time to bid goodbye with my love ones and I really hate it.

The husband keep asking me why I look so gloomy. Haha... Perhaps I still miss home.

Although it's a short trip but I still find satisfaction in it as I managed to visit our grandmas which I think it's very important.

Oh have you met my new friend? Gloomy X Hello Kitty charm. Unlike Gloomy bear (which is really bloody), Hello Kitty had ketchup on her instead. Too cute!

I know the Husband can't wait to get back home because he got a whole shitload of work waiting for him to complete. Poor boy can't rest enough. He is working on his laptop everywhere, anytime. At the airport, in the plane, work from day to night. He have been so caught up at work these days that we only had dinner at 9plus 10 everyday.

Let's hope he finish his job fast and we can have more quality time together...

Happy Chinese New Year!
Friday, January 30, 2009 1:01 PM

So this is the 5th day of CNY already. How time flies man. We flew back to SG and now again back to HK. This trip was a mad rush and I hate myself for not able to meet up with more of my friends and spend more time with my family. Hope the next trip will be better!

[230109]
Flight was at 810pm. Gotta wait for the Husband to knock off at 615pm and rush home to change and rush to take the airport express to HKIA. Wah lau practically running with hugeass lugguage and haversack. Mai siao siao lor. Damn heavy okie.

Thank goodness we make it on time for check-in but no time for dinner. Grab some chips from Muji to munch in the plane. United Airline only provide sandwich for meals la. But still love their service.

Touchdown around 12 midnight. The in laws came to fetch us and we had Ba Chor Mee at the Terminal 3 foodcourt. Not bad!

[240109]
The Husband sent me to my parent's place in the morning. It's my Mum's birthday! But the poor her gotta make Kuey Lapis on her big day but this year is better as Dad took time off from work to help her out. Very proud of my parents. They are not only good at dping business but also good in the kitchen. Hee.

Me and my Sister were given the permission to escape from the baking. So she accompanied me to town for my last minute cny shopping! Thanks to my sister for helping me to make an appointment at the Browhaus for eyebrow trimming. Got it done rightaway and we pop by Star three Sixty for shoes shopping!

Never expect myself to buy anything from there until I saw the Onizuka Tiger X Tokidoki sneakers for ladies! How can I resist it when my size is available too! Managed to pursuade my sister to get a pair of OT sneakers at the same time but not the Tokidoki series. Good for her also because the Tokidoki one is not very feet-friendly. If you know what I mean...

I also spotted a pair that suits the Husband too. Very tempted to buy for him but it's better that he try them on before getting them. So later in the evening, the Husband joined us in town and bought them after trying! Wee couple sneakers!

hoho! Love them!

My besties and I + Sister decided to meet up for a short lunch in town that afternoon!

Love them to bits! They don't mind running around with me after lunch to buy my stuff. Feel very bad that I didn't have much time to interact with them. I guess this are what besties are for! It's the company that matters! :)

Very happy to see them actually. We used to meet up very often before I move to HK and now I will try my best to meet up with them everytime I fly back! I hope I have time to meet up with the rest of my friends too!

I have mention earlier on that my old laptop is giving way... decided to get a new one in SG and fell in love at 1st sight with the new Sony Vaio pink CS series laptop! Wanted to get it at the Paragon Sony Gallery but they only have one last piece of pink and there are many cosmetic defects! (Wah that salesman still wanna smoke me into buying it! ><)

So my sister and I plus the besties "dash" over to Taka's Best and see if they got stock for the pink. After much hesitation... (also duno for what la!), I decided to get it!!

SO pretty can!?!?!? It comes with free case and wireless mouse and free upgrade to 4gb ram! Mai siao siao lor. The speed is flying, unlike my old one... But still love the old pink leh. Aiya cannot have the best of both worlds la. Anyway this laptop is a gift from my mum again. It's funny how she give me presents on her own birthday but I guess it makes her happy that I am happy too. Plus she knows the importance of the laptop now since it's the only way she can see me everyday when I am in HK! Very grateful towards her generousity! Shall make this as my last year birthday gift. :P Thanks Ah Mi!

After getting all the stuff I need in town, we parted with my besties and sister + I waited for the Husband to reach town while we alter the watches straps at Tag.

We made reservation at Jumbo @ Kallang IS to celebrate mum's birthday. Seems like we always have seafood when I am back to SG. Hee... I know they are trying to accomdate me! So sweet!

I love my mum because she is simply the best! Hope I will be able to be by their side everyday soon!

Every trip back, I never fail to felt loved by them. My mum will bring me to eat my favourite food, my sister will bring me around to get the things I need without any complains and my dad will always show how pleased he is when we have the chance to eat together at the same table. That morning, he bought me Nasi Lemak, not one but 2 packets with my favorite sunnyside up egg. It's all this little gestures that matters. :) Very very blessed.

After cake cutting, the Husband and I left my parents place and head back home to prepare for battle with the ZZZZ monster.

Left home and reached HA & Jas's place around late 10-ish pm. The loving couple invited us and a few more couples for a gathering at their place. It was a mad night of Wii, Mahjong, Makan and drinks. Laugh until I almost turn voiceless. Left their place only at 830am the next morning.

[250109]
Got home and zonked off almost immediately when we hit the bed. If not with that look on my face, even ghost will be scared off by me, needless to say 财神爷。

Had reunion dinner at home as my in laws had prepared steamboat and invited some of the relatives over. Helped out when we both woke up from our naps and dinner started late in the evening.

Miss having dinner with my parents... Sigh. But I guess that's how married life is. Not that I am complaining... but tradition do sucks a little.

Feeling very sleepy whole day but I have to 守岁 for my parents so I must tahan!! Thank goodness 12am came swiftly and I fall into my deep deep sleep...

[260109]
Woke up very early that mornin as my in laws have the habit to visit the temple on 1st day of CNY. Didn't have time to use all my make up la so just slap some bb cream on and some blusher. (Both work like a charm!)

Basically it's temple > Marina Square > Movie (Love matters is a CRAPPY SHOW FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!) > home > Pop by my grandma's place for a short while > dinner at his uncle's place

The Husband's auntie can make really nice meesiam leh! It's been a long time since I had one!

[270109]
Yay! Finally can visit my family on the 2nd day! Had my favourite mee sua!! It's definitely something I look forward to every CNY!

Didn't stay for very long also because they gotta go to relatives place for visiting while my in laws booked KTV for the afternoon...

So spent the afternoon from 2-6pm at the KTV and left for dinner together with my parents and Sister @ Rolands. The in law's treat. Too bad we didn't had seafood... (Rolands but no seafood!?!?!?!? Guess we had quite enough for my mum's celebration...)

[280109]
Our flight back to HK is at 640am so we gotta leave for airport at 440am. Total madness. Thank god for the in laws for their ride. We have time for breakfast (like a super early one) at Delifrance and board the plane after that. Reached HK and back home by 12pm and throw everything into the washing machine, unpack the bags and take a nap to recover our lost sleep.

And there we are... back to our normal routine in HK.

I will be taking a short break from blogging as I have 4 songs pending to be done... and I am still trying to get used to the new laptop's keyboard.

So before I go, here's my favourite family picture for this CNY. :)

Have fun everyone!

The night I woke up from a nightmare...
Tuesday, September 23, 2008 10:49 AM

The fear is so real...

The pain is so real... just like what I felt 6 years back but this time round, in my dream. The kind of pain, like a knife pierce through my heart. So deep... so intense.

The heartless back view... the hurtful words... kept ringing in my mind. That's when I felt so helpless... so pain...

And in my dream... I saw my mum hugging me... telling me the exact words she told me 6 years back. I can never love again, I told her. There she was... hugging me so tight and stroking my hair... telling me it's okie... I still have my family.

This whole thing is like... an re-enactment of a very bad breakup I suffered 6 years back with an ex-bf of 3 years. But this time round the male lead in my nightmare is my husband.

It's a blessing to wake up every morning to see the love of your life right beside you. As much as my tears flooded my pillow this morning... the kisses from my husband gave me assurance all over again...

Maybe I am suffering from premarital anxiety. I need retail therapy.

Food Tasting
Wednesday, September 17, 2008 9:18 AM

The trip back to Singapore come and go like a breeze. It's a mad rush from the day we board our flight. And now, I am drowing in my own nasal mucus and semi-bed ridden. Sigh.

Had our food tasting at the Oriental on the 13th of Sept and it's totally luxury lor. I had ZERO complain on the dishes but changed 2 due to some repetition of ingredient. One of the rare moments to hear my dad saying "very nice" when it comes to food. Seems like my parents and sister like it very much.

We invited Dennis's aunties, uncles and grandma for the occasion too as his parents are still stuck in Beijing.

We have chosen dream theme. Love the color X 100000000!

With Oriental, I have nothing to worry about our wedding dinner. Sandy, our coordinator plan everything out well and all I need to do is to be present at the dinner itself. But things outside Oriental makes me pretty stressed out. Ugh. I have to take it easy for now!

Collected our invitation cards as well. Printed very nicely and love the black cards from Oriental.

Our flight back to HK with UA was cancelled the day before and thank god the husband checked the itinerary online and quickly called the US office and got a replacement flight on the same day with CX. An upgrade definitely but I love UA's service. They have really sweet and thoughtful air stewardess. Because it's nearing mid-autumn festival that day and lots of passengers bought mooncakes. The stewardess was kind enough to offer dry ice to put inside the mooncake. SO nice leh! I hope all other airlines actually provide such thoughtful gestures!

Ok, will update more when I recover.

Omg. Keanu Reeves so hensum can? Watching the Lake House now.

At the end of the day...
Tuesday, September 09, 2008 11:40 PM

my family have the best arms to be in.

My mum is the best mum in this world. Unreplacable.

I hate myself at times for throwing temper at her... but it's because I know she is the only person who can accept me for who I am and don't take it to heart. She know I get pissed only when I have a vaild reason. I have finally grown up... to admit my mistakes and apologise to her whenever I throw my temper.

She spoilt me rotten... but I didn't take advantage of it. It warm my heart whenever she have me in her thoughts. It's good enough... given that we are so far apart now.

My dad is even cuter. I always thought we don't have an as close relationship as compared to my Mum but that day he called me via MSN and webcam with me to spot check whether I had taken dinner already. (because husband is away for work). And every now and then he will ask whether I have enough money to use or not... (And he also quite haolian about getting the new Iphone. -_-)

Sometimes it feels helpless to be away from home... but my only comfort is that I can rely on my sister to look after my parents...

I can't wait... to be home once again and be in the arms of my loving family...

P.S: Respects can only be gained if you respect others in return. Don't expect a one way train. It's... kinda disgusting.

What's the best gift that your parents gave you?
Saturday, August 30, 2008 10:38 PM

Bringing you to this world? Giving your a warm shelter over the head? Giving you a good eduation? Buying what you like?

For me, the best gift my parents gave me is a sibling... an elder sister I looked up to, someone who protect and took care of me, gave me the best thing in life. (*teary eyes*)

No matter how bad my day was, it's always nice to have someone at home to rant at (including relationship woes). My sister is not only a sibling to me. She is also like my best friend, my soul mate, my office-and-shopping partner in crime and my care-taker. She hate what I hate and we have similar taste too. Thou at times we quarrel too... so much so that we feel like pulling each others' hair. But we always end up speaking to each other the next day.

My sister is a very generous person. She won't hesistate to treat me good food, buy me expensive gifts that I like and also pay for my expenses during travelling. That's the reason why I don't feel the pinch when it comes to buying gifts for her too. What I can afford to buy for her can never be enough to repay all the kindness she showered me. So I know I have to be protective towards her too. That's because due to her kind heart, she always got bullied. People who took advantage of her are simply just people from hell. They are people who can't cherish what's good in their life.

I love my Sister. She is the best thing in my life, beside my parents, my husband and my best friends. Thou at times irritating people tries to bring me down, they will fail to do so because I am always happier than them. Happiness kills enemies.

I miss those day when I am back in Singapore, still working for my Dad. Our desk are just behind each other so we always gossip during work. I never fail to irritate her and get help from her. Life can be rather lonely in Hong Kong now. But she is always online to keep me company.

I miss the girly talks when we still share the same room under one roof. I miss falling sleep halfway talking to her. Wish I can go back to Singapore now. Sigh.

ANYWAY... my sister is here with her friend staying in a hotel in Jordan. (not convenient since our guest room is too small for them to share the bed)... and I tried to keep them company as much as possible.

They pop by my place yesterday and had dimsum at Maritime Square. Very nice leh. Even thou I have stayed here for like 3 months liao but I have yet to try the dimsum. (I queued for a bloody 1 hr+ lor)

After lunch, we shopped around the mall before proceeding to Lantau Island.

She gave me a surprise this morning when I went to their hotel to meet them...

LeSportSac and Bfree collaboration bag. So cute can?! I have actually seen this bag a couple of times when I went shopping so I brought my Sister to take a peek (I love she loves this kind of designer series bag) and she bought a smaller version for herself. I love it but hesistate about getting because I broke my budget this month. But she actually bought it for me after I went back from meeting them. How can I not love her?! She know me so well leh. HEHEEHEH! Thanks jie! I love the bag SO MUCH!

Kuma-lover, don't be jealous! :P See what I have got here!!

BEDSHEET!! SO CUTE! I have actually got one set already when I 1st came to HK but I saw this design yesterday when I bring my Sister to buy for her own bed. Can't resist and bought too!

SOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE LA!! I was at Golden Plaza today to look for wedding stuff and I saw this shop selling couple softoy wearing wedding outfit! Can't decide which one to get so my Sister bought me one and I got myself one too. L O V E I T!!!!

My sister is leaving HK tomorrow... I feel bad that I couldn't join her any further today because I was under the weather. Fever and sorethroat. HK is SORCHING, INSANELY HOT beyond words. Hope she will be back to HK soon so that I can play a better host and bring her to more places! Seeya in Sept!

I better go sleep. Gotta wake up early tomorrow and fetch Peili from the airport. Hee. Good night!

Birthday 2008
Friday, August 22, 2008 11:33 PM

Woah. Typhoon warning. 9 right now. Can't believe our luck. 3 months here and 3 Typhoon already. No wonder the Husband's colleagues gave him a new nickname call "Son Of Typhoon". Haha...

Anyway, it may not be a bad thing afterall... The Husband didn't have to go to work today and since my in laws are in HK, we pop by their hotel and spent a few hours there chatting and discuss about the wedding. Love the Shangri-La suite! So "leng"!

Had lunch at Pacific Place and went back the hotel to slack until dinner and we decided to take a train to Tsing Yi for dinner. I had my favourite roasted goose!

My in laws damn cute la. They wanna experience the power of the typhoon and decided to walk outdoor. The wind condition is really bad lor in my opnion. I can't understand why anyone still wanna go for sea sports. It's crazy. Especially those who decided to bring their kids along. Too selfish. There was a guy who got eaten up by the wave and couldn't be found now. Hope this serve a good lesson to the rest!

Alot of shops are closed today. So are the cake shops... so no birthday cake for me this year... but it's okie! I can always have it next year... and the year after next... and the next next........

Presents!!

On Wednesday, the Husband called me after work and told me that he will be back home late and he feel sorry about it... especially not able to buy me a present in time... I never expect him to get me more gifts since he already got my a LC-A+ which cost a bomb...

Anyway he called me awhile later telling me that he is at the mall near our apartment and wants to meet me for dinner....

I went down, saw him... with a Longchamp paper bag!!! The sneaky boy left office earlier to get the bag for me!

Green in color! Never know it can look as pretty as the red one!

Deeper inside the paperbag...

My Melody limited Edition mini MTR Octopus card!! I told the Hubby that I love one of the design and he bought 2 of them! I secretly think that he can't remember which one I am aiming at. Heee... but I love both! SO CUTE LA!

Thank you my dear! You really know how to make me feel on top of the world! Now I know how it feels like to be presented with a branded bag. HAHA... okie la not branded as LV la but I love it okie?!

My Sister got me something special!

Special as in special edition bag! Crumpler's "The Rufous Whistler" (5 million dollar camera bag). It's designed by Joel Adams and world LE of 1460 pieces. Love the quirky color combination and details! Thanks jie! I love it TO BITS!

And this came in the morning from the Husband...

LC-A+ wide angle lens from the buddies! Ailing mei, Peili, Kaijing, Dylan, Zhongxi, Guangming & Huihuang!

They very sneaky ah... pak-kart with my husband and got him to buy the present... write the card and pass it to me! HEE! Very pleasant surprise because I told no one that I want that lens! Only the Hubsband lor. My best bestest buddies! Friends who complete my life... :) Thank you so much again for the present!

Actually yesterday night I felt very sad because I am so far away from my home... far away from where I celebrated 23 of birthdays... far away from friends and family who celebrate for me every year... blow candles and cut cakes together... But all the little gestures from every single one of them kept me going... warm my heart... thou they are not physcially here with me, their thoughts are.

In life, you don't have to have many friends and family members... all you need is just Parents (my Dad and Mum), Silings (for me, 1 wonderful Sister), 1 person who truly love you (my husband) and a handful of friends who uses their heart to befriend you. I am very fortunate because I am loved. Very blessed indeed. :)

Thank you all for the smses, email, tagboards, facebook, friendster, comments in blog wishes! Appreciate all the kind tots!

Last but not least, a very big thank you to my parents for giving me a wonderful life! Cut cake together again next year! :P

Here, your very grumpy yet happy birthday girl...

Tata!!!! <3 Time to hibernate again while the typhoon blow my birthday to the year 2009. :)

Happy Birthday To Me...

and here comes the major typhoon of the year... which totally gonna blew my birthday celebration away... heard it's gonna be warning no. 10 this time round.

Sigh. I wanna go back to Singapore.

Happy "labour" day to you too my dearest mom... for giving birth to me... and giving what I have today. I know it's a very painful process at the delivery suite 24 years ago... and this 24 years must be rather tramatic for you. Haha... nevertheless, we will be the 2 closest people, together with Sister, Dad and Dennis... we will brave through all storms and rubbish together. Heck the fakers, live life to the fullest! I love you! Hugs!

And to my dearest Hubby, thanks for the surprises that you've given me. :) So happy that no words can describe la! Now I can totally feel how much you love me... just like how much I love you too. :)

Self mental note: keep valuables off the windows incase of typhoon!

Oh happy day!
Monday, August 04, 2008 3:52 PM

After going thru a week of emotional roller coaster ride, I am backkkkkkkkkkk!

But nope, I have not mastered the art of forgive and forget. At least not for people like THEM. Anyway, like I always say... I believe in karma. So I shall just sit back and relax, waiting for nature to punish EVILLLLLLLLLLL people. :) Meanwhile I will chant good karma for people I love.

And so, good mood started when I finally received my red ipod shuffle which I ordered online. Got it for my gym regiment so workout will not be so boring anymore. Love apple online store because there are no delivery charges and you get free engraving!

Bought the 1gb nia since I only store some of my favourite songs. I love looping and shuffling them so no point getting ipod nano which have an LCD screen.

Basically I spent my weekdays doing wedding photo montage using Premiere Elements. But my laptop is very the 不争气 la. Very slow and keep crashing. God knows how much ram is needed to run such application.

Still remember when I was still in poly, I ran programs like SQL Apache, Flash, Fireworks, Photoshop and Lightwave all at one go because I was rushing my year end project and in the end my computer crash. Got the technician to come and found out my ram literately BLOATED. Ugh.

Back to the montage. I am done with the individual photos (e.g bride and groom's baby and teenage photos) and now left with the couple, ROM and pre wedding photos. Maybe gotta take another week to finish it. Don't ask me why am I not using window movie maker to do it. It's obvious. Premiere Elements got more control over the transition and places to put your text. Once you have learn to use PE, you will never touch Movie maker again.

The husband's monthly haircut was due again and this time round we decided to go ahead and made reservation at HAIRDO, Causewaybay (Opposite Time Square). The husband said that its a much better salon then the previous one he went to. Basically this salon is full of real japanese stylist. Not those wannabe. Thou it's almost twice the price compared to the previous one he had his cut at,HAIRDO cost almost the same price as what the Husband paid for when he cut his at Hairy's @ Far East Plaza, Singapore. So I guess it's all worth it. He is still as suave. Hee hee.

After his 1 1/2 hr haircut (don't ask me why so long!), we pop over to Time Square and had dinner @ Simply Thai for the 2nd time.

Don't understand why people cannot take non-shakey pictures with my camera. Not even the husband. So hard to control meh. Yah la I know under low lights shots tends to be shakey but... I can still take quite steady shot of you leh. :/ Why my individual picture always so blur one. :(

I had my usual shrimp paste fried rice while the husband had this out-of-the-world-crazy-spicy basil leave fried rice. Poor baby LS-ed like 4-5 times after the dinner. Too spicy liao la!

After dinner, we went Citysuper and after much consideration... the husband bought me a huge present!

TADAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

My very own Lomo LC-A+!!!! Man, I don't know how does girls felt if their bf or hubby present them with a branded bag but to me, buying me a gadget I love is like the best feeling in this world! I love my new toy and no words can describe how I feel now!

I am still looking for the perfect pouch for it now. Wanted to get the same porter pouch I got for my GRDII but LC-A+ is fatter than GRDII and it's not easy to find back the same pouch as it's a LE piece...

Anyway here are some pictures of my new toys and some comparison shots with GRDII.

They do look abit like siblings. But LC-A+ isn't made to perfection. It's a little rugged-looking but guess that's why I fell in love with it. Now I truly appreciate the beauty of black... but not like I no longer love pink. :)

I almost forgotten how to load a 35mm film but I guess all the good memories are coming back. The very last time I handle a film camera was like my last year in Secondary school. Am at the 7th frame now only so gonna take sometime before I can post what amazing images it can capture...

I know I said I want it to be a present from those who knows who I am talking about but the husband know I can't wait so got it for me 1st. So if you're still fussing over what to get for me, just chip any amount into this present and it will still make me very happy. It's the thought that counts la. :P More info, go contact the husband ba! (But I still want my birthday card hor!)

I truly hate Hong Kong's weather. We encountered the worse hit of rain and heat ever since we move over. It's crazy because it affect your daily routine. Like today, the Standby Signal for Tropical Cyclone, No. 1 is in force together with the VERY HOT warning. I am trapped inside the house with the bright sun all over me. I can't switch on the aircon because the living room aircon is the huge one which will contribute ALOT to the water and electrcity bills. I had the fan blowing directly at my face till my head hurts. When will winter come? It's prolly the only thing I look forward now in HK.

I also conclude that majority Hong Kong-ers are a bunch of very unhappy people. I have nothing against them, really. But they always have this very unhappy look on their face and put all the blames onto anyone, simply anyone they meet on the street. They dash their way, bumping into you. But instead of saying sorry, they scream at you, like it's your fault.

The other day the husband and I were on the train and this auntie was the last to hop onto the extremely packed train. But because she was carrying a relatively huge backpack, she was bumping into everyone else. Come on, no one was even giving her a dirty look but in return, she starts screaming at this lady next to her, saying that she is getting into hers and her bag's way. The poor lady obviously have to shun away from her but how far can she go... since the train was already so packed.

And there was once even more dramatic. Everyone was minding their own business at the train platform when this young man started shouting in cantonese with things like: "What are you looking at?!?! Not happy?! Come hit me!". Wah lau machiam like Singapore Ah Beng. I never thought I will encounter this myself until that day. The couple was very embarrassed la. Maybe they did stare at the man la but no need shout so loud ma. Aiyo.

Actually Singapore and Hong Kong are about the same. You will encounter good and bad service everywhere, anywhere. Sales reps can be sucha pain in the arse but I shall not dive into negative details. Nevertheless, I still encounter with good ones la. Like this cashier at 大家乐。Maybe it's because we had our dinner there almost every evening but it's still nice to know people actually bother to remember you. She will ask things like, "So is it take away again today?" and she bother to say hello to us very excitedly. It makes me very happy. Simple yet happy.

But nothing beats being at home... my Singapore home...

I have been wondering...
Saturday, July 26, 2008 6:25 PM

how would it like to be the parents of our own children?

I think I will prolly be the strict yet soft hearted kind while the Husband is the educator for them... and we will make sure our kids will be proud of us.

Definitely won't disgrace my own kids, like you(s), MONEY SUCKERS!

Hello!
Wednesday, July 23, 2008 10:48 AM

I seems to be falling in love with where I stay in now...

Hong Kong finally have some Sunny Day!

Haven't been exactly constructive ever since my laptop crash but before that I was trying to do a new layout and our wedding montage. Luckily I back up most of the files before my laptop dies on me. *phew*

Last week, we had our very 1st visitors at our place. My auntie and uncle came to HK after having a short stay in Macau. It's nice to have some relatives dropping by and spend quality time together, something which we hardly do in Singapore.

I pop by their hotel 2 days after their visit and brought them to Mongkok for a walk and meals. I am glad I know Hong Kong well enough now to bring people around. Haha...

We have been here for about 2 months and after being sorta alone for so long, I will have lotsa visitors in August. 1st will be my In laws, then my Sister & Peili! Very weird hor, normally no one comes la. Then now one after another. Not like I am complaining but I hope there will be a balance distribution of company. Heee...

Ok la. Maybe I will count on the rest. My parents? Ailing? Huijun? LJ gangs? Yong Hao kor? When are you all coming man?

The husband and I have started our fitness regiment by visiting the gym as often as we can. I have "painfully" invested in a pair of track shoes and some attire. Girls are like that ma... go gym must also wear until wu seh. HAHAA.

Oh did I mention we got a big brother for Kuma? Wanted to get a bigger one but it cost twice as much as the one I got in the end. Siao. Just because one is from China and one is from Japan. Myabe I will get it when I am feeling rich. :P

Kuma doesn't seems to like his big brother very much.

The husband called the big one "bear bear". Not sure why but he seems to love it very much. Very good. Now kuma is all mine. Heh heh heh.

A trip back home...
Tuesday, July 08, 2008 10:25 PM

is just like a blink of an eye. Took a evening flight back to Singapore on Friday and back in Hong Kong on Monday evening... very tiring but fulfiling. :)

Touchdown in Singapore around 1215am and took us around 45mins to get home. Ordered Mac delivery for supper and can't help falling asleep after filling our tummy...

Woke up at 10am next day and prepared to go Marina Square to meet up with Ailing mei for my gown fitting and the husband's suit fitting. Will go for a final fitting when our AD gets nearer.

Chungsiak & Guangming joined us for lunch and Peninsula where the vain GM bought his Ray-ban and I bought my Ricoh GT-1.

Left wonderful gang around 5pm and went back to meet my parents and sister for dinner. Celebrated my Sister birthday. :) Hope she love the Agnes B bag!

Sunday was the big day for Gayyong and Junie. In the morning, Wansheng dropped by and pass us our bridal shoot CD. Thanks for making a trip down purposely to pass us the CD, WS! Really appreciate that! :)

The KOH's ROM was held at Timbre. Weather was pretty hot but that doesn't stop us from getting excited for the cute couple. Hee. Though it was a pretty tiring day but the Husband and I was very happy to be able to make it for the event!

After the solemnization, we went around and too some pre-nep shots for the couple.

No pictures yet as the Husband is still processing them. Hee.

Rush home for dinner with my Parents after the shoot wraps up.

Monday I had an appointment with Randy @ Le Salon for a haircut. The last haircut I had with him was like 8 months back. I think I save up quite abit on hair care. Haha... Randy snip off my hair quite abit. I think almost 10cm. Gasp! But my head feel much lighter now. Just hope that it will grow long enough for my wedding in Nov!

Sister came by our place to fetch us to town. Turn out she actually went to Taka and buy me gifts after she drops us off at the Taxi stand. So sneaky!

Nothing cheers me up more than these cuties. My very 1st birthday present and I love it to bits!

And my mum actually ask my sister to buy me a replacement for my missing cow-suit Kuma phone charm. Yah... I lost mine when I was rushing to catch a train to the airport on Friday. :(

Only people who love me knows me best. Thank you so much my best parents and sister! And of course besties who willing to take time off and meet me thou it's just a short one. Hee.

Received my bridal shop bridal shoot layout in my mail as they are unable to show me when I went down to their shop that day.

Not bad not bad. Let's just hope that they will turn out ok on prints when I collect them next time.

CSI time! Will update again soon! :P

P.s: Oh, also thanks to all the cousin and other relatives' birthday angbaos. They are well received. :) Thanks once again!
