Tuesday, June 08, 2010 10:04 AM I think it's almost a month since we both came back to Singapore for good. Sometimes I have forgotten that I ever left here and stay in a foreign country for almost 2 years. But from time to time when I am out shopping and looking at pricetag, I will automatically divide the amount by 5. VERY VERY DANGEROUS I TELL YOU. Everything will become very cheap but reality will hit you when you reaches the payment counter. LOL I never really talk about how we came about deciding to come back for good. Actually we have been talking about it for a long long time but opportunity don't just come with a a snap of fingers. After a million tries, we finally see some lights in the dark tunnel... The wait for the golden ticket flying back home took us about 3 months. It's insane I tell you. As much as I am dying to go home, the Husband appear more anxious then me. I think he may be suffering from depression that time. He can't sleep, eat or work. We go to the temple almost every weekend. All we can do is only pray, pray and pray... And finally when we receive THE PHONE CALL, we realise it's not just about putting our belongings into suitcase and fly back home. We have to put everything in CARTONS instead. Obviously I am incharge of packing since I am always at work. Buying carton boxes in HK is not as easy in SG. We had to travel far away to buy them and imagine the size of an inflated box. We need almost 20 of them. Ever since, every single day was packing and packing for me. Sealing them up is a total bitch. Each boxes are so heavy and I have to tape them all around. Push, pull & turn. The worst part is stacking them up. It's not helping when the weather in HK is SO WET THAT EVERYTHING IS TURNING MOLDY! I don't want to bring mold back to Singapore. Other than belonging, we have SO much to settle. From utilities bill transfer to bank account to apartment lease. Our head gets bigger each day. I tried my luck and posted a thread in a expat forum regarding my lease break apartment and just within half an hour, I had emails from a few different people. And most of them are Singaporeans. This particular girl from Singapore emailed me 1st so I gave her the piority to view our apartment on that weekend. We hit it off instantly (maybe it's the Singaporean thing. haha) and she have shown interest in taking over our apartment. Everything happen so quickly and before we know it, we sealed the deal and will move out 2 weeks later. 1 week before our departure we got the courier that my Dad recommend to ship our barangs back to SG via sea. A total of over 300kg! My Dad got a rude shock after I told him the weight. He asked if it's in pound instead. I thought it could be but I weigh them away and confirm it's kg. omg. 2 days before our departure, we moved out of our lovely apartment and put up at a hotel near our place. It was mix feeling for both of us. As much as we want to go back to SG, we don't know what's waiting for us back home. 1 day before flying back home, we watched Ipman again. (Did I mention I watched Ipman 2 like 3 times already?! HAHA! I even bought the DVD for part 1.) Had a nice meal and reminisce all the good times we had in HK. THE DAY is finally here. Although we have shipped 300kg of items back but we are still stuck with 4 big luggages and a even buy extra weight for our barangs with the airline. But when we reaches the airport, the check in counter told us that our baggage exceeded what we have bought so we have to hand carry some of them. WOAH imagine us pulling out items one by one and dump everything into the trolley and run to the luggages store to buy a cabin size luggage. When we reaches the departure gate, we were told that the flight is full so we have to check in our cabin luggage too! WTF man in the end also check in, why trouble us to buy another luggage and take our things out from our usual luggage?!?!?! The flight home was exceptionally long but not like I am complaining... I believe I won't be taking another flight for a long long time later. :P So happy to reach the arrival hall seeing my Mum and Sister. Dad was too busy to come but thanks to him for allowing my sister to take time off from work. HEE Went back home and another round of cleaning and unpacking. I am SO glad we are all settled down comfortably now. Life have been so good ever since!! ^^ Thanks to all my family & friends who have been there for me when I am troubled away from home. And thanks to my Husband who work so hard to provide me when I am not working for the past 2 years. Vacation is over! But happiness remains! <3 (sorry for the wall of text! I am typing this blog in office so no pictures yet! :P But stay tune peeps!)

Monday, March 29, 2010 1:23 PM Disappeared for longer than expected... but nothing is better then having some me-time and clearing some thoughts. Life was a roller coaster for the past few weeks but no matter what happens, life still goes on. I am still who I am and I still love what I love. I have been pretty optimistic for all my life so I guess it helps to get by bad times pretty quickly. And so the besties, Ailing, Kaijing & Dylan visited the Husband and I in HK earlier this month and we had so much fun! :) Peili and Irvin was also in HK at the same time so we visited Ocean Park today and stayed in there from morning till the gate close behind us. Usually the Husband and I only spent like what, 3 hours most in Ocean Park? Haha... I am amazed by the besties' willpower.  Yes, it's the eyeball-enlargement photosticker machine. But seems like the function works well for everyone else except for me. I must have REALLY SMALL EYES. :P So when we were back in Singapore for CNY, the Husband and I were looking at getting Wayfarer. He wants to use it as eyeglasses while I am looking for shades. Sunglass Hut @ Marina Square was having 20% off for most items and I am surprise that Rayban are on sale too. Price was really attractive so we were pretty much sold.  Husband got the tortise color for his eyeglasses while I got white for mine. Initially I was considering red and white but red is too BOOMZ for me so I got the white instead. But white have pure white with full black shades and white subway design with grey shades. Since price difference wasn't huge for both, I got the subway one which was supposed to be limited edition. Love it! :) While the besties were here, they shop so much that left me speechless. They really know how to walk. Haha... especially Dylan! And I think he bought the most items. Very impressive for a guy. :P Of course how can I not bring them to my favorite kuma store? I went to collect the sandwich plush which I pre-ordered sometime back and bought some cute stickers too. Too hard to resist. :)  I still buy Rilakkuma stuff when I have a blogshop selling them... but some of the items I got are only sold in Japan and the store owner is really nice to get them for me. ^^ Pass by Macdonalds last Friday and they are selling their new 35th Anniversary plush toys collector set. Too cute to give it a miss!  It's funny how collector's edition doesn't come with the normal size Officer Big Mac & Mac Tonight. I have to stuff myself silly with mac to complete the set. -_- To find out more, visit HERE! :) Those who are on my Facebook will know that I am dying to eat the Rilakkuma cake, partially for the cute Rilakkuma plates that will be given free for every 1 pound of cake. There are a totally of 6 plates that comes in 3 different sets. Saint Honore, the cake shop offering the cute cakes are not exactly near my place but the love I have for Rilakkuma make me determine to get them. Haha... and Thanks to the Husband for spoiling me. I can safely say that we are super hardcore Rilakkuma Fans because we ate 3 blardy pound of cake just to finish collecting all the plates.  Anyway the cakes are also to welcome our smallest member of the Kuma family... SLS. (don't ask me why that name. The Husband gave the funniest name to all my bears.) Monday, March 01, 2010 10:47 AM I just couldn't keep to my promise about blogging regularly in 2010. I totally lost the mojo for blogging once I go on a relatively long trip. (e.g back for cny and perth.) It's pretty scary to know that it's the 3rd month into 2010 already. This year seems to move on very quickly but I guess it's a good thing. Soon we will be in HK for 2 years already and I am really looking forward to going back to SG for good. [CNY] This time we flew back to SG days before CNY so that we will have time for shopping. I couldn't find anything suitable for new year in HK that's why I always say SG is the best shopping place for me. This year the in laws had early reunion dinner so I am very excited to be able to join my very own family for reunion on new year's eve. I know it's not a normal practice for married daughter and I didn't join them last year. Day 1 was spent with my in laws and house visiting. And of course how can we missed out visiting the temple early in the morning? After temple, we had a hard time finding eatery that opens on 1st day of CNY. My FIL says he remember seeing one of the Bak Kut Teh stall in Balestier advertising on the newspaper saying that they are open. IIRC it's the 933 BKT. Surprised to see that it's not at all packed given that it's one of the many few stalls opening on that day. Since 1st day of CNY is also V-day, the Husband and I thought of catching a movie together so I tried making a reservation via my BB and got a confirmation number. But when we went to Tampines GV to make a collection, I was told there isn't any booking under my name. WTF I was pissed and asked if that's the case, why bother about having an application for online booking?! The cinema is full by the time we were there and no way we can buy tickets on the spot. BAH! No movie so we had a pathetic dinner @ Pasta Mania. I found plastic in my pasta and how lucky can I get? We really regretted having dinner there, totally forgotten about the new mall in Tampines. Tampines 1! We had a good walk at Tampines 1 after dinner and home sweet home we went. The Husband got a LVoely wallet from me, replacing the old one which went outta shape after him squeezing coins in bill compartment. :O I am still waiting for mine, something that can't be bought with just $$... but patience. :P Day 2 was spent at my parents' place. Finally I get to eat the Heng Wah Mee Sua again! Only available in the HO's residence. :P Always look forward to eat it every CNY. After makan, we proceed to my uncle's place for visiting. He have a really impressive garden in his balcony!  Had lunch at his place and waited till it's time for me and the Husband to make our way to the airport. Our flight to perth was supposed to be 7ish but when we reach the airport for check in at around 5pm, we were told that our flight was changed to 5ish. Good lord we ALMOST missed our flight! We make a quick dash to the boarding gate after checking in and once we settle down onto our seats in the flight, the door is closed. Phew! Crazy! [Perth] The in laws reached Perth earlier than us as they took the morning flight instead. So they came to the airport and fetch us and we had supper @ Macdonalds. The subsequent days in Perth was quite leisure and tummy filling. We were constantly munching on food (me, SIL, MIL & Aunt) and the guys (FIL and Hubby) were in charge to be behind the wheels. We visited Fremantle (for the amazing Fish & Chips @ Cicerellos!), Rottnest Island for the beautiful beaches & Margaret River for the wine and chocolate. We had alot of Chinese food in Perth but because my FIL prefer Chinese over Western Food. Not that I am complaining. The Chinese cuisine there is exceptionally good! :)  I WASN'T too hyped up in Perth due to many reasons and one of them is definitely the shopping malls. Perhaps I was too pampered in HK & SG, shopping in Perth can be quite a dread. Flew back to SG on the 20th and we had lotsa catching up with our friends. Glad to be able to meet up with the LJ peeps for durian supper (sorry that I have to leave early to see doctor. Water retention the doctor says! ><), dinner with Jun & Zave (Congrats on the enagagement!! <3) and the Husband's besties for late CNY visiting! :) After all the good times in SG, we flew back to reality on the 23rd to find my house soaked in water, like literately? The weather in HK is INSANELY wet due to high humidity. The celling started to get moldy (the horror!!), the tile walls are dripping with condensation water! I wanted to cry so much but I was too busy trying to make them dry! :( One of our guppy died too!! :( I was so depressed over the wet house that the Husband decided to get me a dehumidifier the next day. I have no idea how it actually works but we leave it on throughout the whole night together with aircon, it's alarm went off 4am that morning and I went to check what happened. I was shocked that it shows the tank is full and I have to pour away 10L of water! I turn it on again and it's alarm went off 9am the next day. Goodness 20L of water sucked out from my room! It's like someone just pour water into our house! I really hope the weather gets better soon because my laundry couldn't dry in time for the next round of laundry to be washed! :( Exicted about the besties visiting us in HK this coming Wednesday! Wednesday, January 20, 2010 1:46 PM So I am not the only person who find the Husband having a striking resemblance to Donnie Yen. I thought I was too crazy over the 2 guys until Dayv kor msn-ed me and told me the same thing after him watching some trailer of Donnie Yen online. I guess he was right. I always like guys in a particular "pattern", style and look. And eventually I ended up marrying my perfect dream guy. Can't be any happier. :) If you don't know already, I love Donnie Yen. But I definitely love the Husband love. <3 Muah! Sorry ah my updates are still slow and little but because my precious laptop just died on me a couple of days ago and I have so much photos to edit and upload which I can't do it on my netbook! T-T I can't wait to get it repair when I go back SG for CNY. Yes! Tickets booked for SG and Perth. I miss Singapore! *tok dong chiang!*
Wednesday, December 23, 2009 10:27 AM  Omocha-Land Collection 5 is up! The last collection of 2009! :) Wanna start off by saying a million thank you to my dearest sister, April and Linus! Although I am not in Singapore but they have no forgotten about me during this festive season! :) And so happy that Rilakkuma reminds April and Linus of me. HAHA!  It's amazing how things like this touches my heart. Guess being away from Singapore make me cherish my family and friends more! :) The other day I ordered 2 Pursetogo for my Miu and NF and it came after a week! The website state it takes 2-4 weeks but I got them really fast! Happy!  Yay! No more saggy NF and messy things in the bags! <3 That day I was digging into my mountains of Rilakkuma collection and found this keychain that I bought sometime back! Rilakkuma and LV are made for each other! :P Look at the matching colors! On Saturday, we went popby Chocoolate to collect the Bape X Chocoolate dotted hoodie that we pre-ordered previously. We both got 1 each so we can have couple hoodie! :)  The cut for mine is perfect but I think the one the Husband got may be a little small but pre-order items are not allowed to exchange. Bah. :( After coming back from Beijing and the beginning of the very cold winter, the toes on my right foot starts to swell and it got worse this week. Finally decided to see a doctor yesterday night and I am surprise to know that it's not Cellulitis. WARNING: GRAPHIC IMAGE! LOL  Now my toes look 1.5 times worse from the picture. (Anyway it's the right foot.) It's exactly the same problem I had last winter. I was diagnose with Cellulitis back then and yesterday when I went back to see another doctor, he said it's not Cellulitis because Cellulitis will not cause all 5 toes and the foot bed to be red and swollen. Super WTF can? Why all the doctors in Hong Kong can't give me a constant diagnosis? Last year when I have shingles, I have to see 3 different doctors for 4 times before being diagnosed with Shingles. Before that I was told that I am suffering from allergy wtf can? The doctor yesterday told me it may be Rheumatism (wtf Rheumatism on toes?!) and if the swell doesn't subside I have to go for a blood test. Sofa-king lost. I went to see the doctor wearing my usual crocs maryjane but it was exceptionally tight yesterday because of the swell and the foot bed was uncovered so my foot was bascially exposed to the super cold air. When I got home, I went straight to shower in hot water because anything below hot can cause frostbite no kidding! While showering, I notice my toes got more tighten and red and worse of all, sofa-king itchy!!! SO ITCHY THAT I CAN'T STOP rubbing it! (I can't scratch because the skin is already very vulnerable from the swell.) I started crying in the bathroom and shouted for the Husband and ask him what to do to stop the itch. I quickly jump out from the shower and continue rubbing them and crying at the same time. Good lord. No words can describe how blardy itchy it was. The itch was making me confuse and I don't know what to do but to rub and stare at it. I decided to apply medication oil but no use! The itch got worse and I totally lost control of my nerve. My leg couldn't stop twitching and it's scaring the shit outta me. I frantically googled for "itchy red swollen toes" and was lead to CHILBLAINS. WTF it's exactly the same! The symptoms and the picture! WHAT CELLULITIS and RHEUMATISM! I don't know what the hell the doctors are doing la but they are absolutely wasting my money and time and making my situation worse! From the situation, it seems like the blood vessels got confused by the drastic change of temperature. So I start to rotate my foot and exercise them to let the blood circulate. I put on a thick socks too to keep it warm. After about 30 minutes of non-stop exercising, the itchy starts to go away. THANK GOODNESS!! I WAS THIS CLOSE TO CHOPPING OFF MY TOES OKIE TO EASE THE ITCH! I force myself to sleep and this morning the itch is gone and the swell went down abit! I can finally bend my toes! PLEASE don't let me experience that kind of itch again! IT ALMOST KILLED ME. Enough of all this terrible foot story. I don't think I will be udpating again before Christmas so... Wednesday, December 16, 2009 2:17 PM Finally able to update on my trip! [Taiwan, Taipei Day 1: 15.11.2009] My 1st time taking flight alone. Initially my plan was to take a flight back to Singapore to meet up my girls (Ailing, Peili, Kaijing & Wenbei) and take the flight to Taipei together with them. But after booking the air ticket, I realise it's much better and less time consuming to fly direct from Hong Kong. Afterall it's over for 1 hour plus only! I was lucky to be able to book a ticket from Hk to TW from Eva Airline. Arrival timing is only 10 minutes difference from the girls. Supposed to take the airport express from my place to the airport. I keep reminding myself to get off T2 but in the end guess what? I got off T1 instead and gotta drag my super heavy luggage over to T2. -_- The flight was okie and I was knock out almost immediately after the flight took off. Thou it's only an hour plus flight, I manage to eat sleep and play games on my iPhone. HAHA Reach Tw and got a call from Ailing mei and realise that they are already on the Freego and coming towards T2 (they were in T1) to pick me up! Alamak I was still waiting for my baggage at the belt and so I ran all the way out to the bus stop and saw Ailing mei walking towards me. So we both ran together with the blardy heavy baggage and up the Freego we go!  After approx. 1 hour journey on the bus, we checked into Rainbow Hotel @ Ximending. Next stop was the Taipei Train station to purchase tickets to Hualien the next day. Had dinner at the steamboat restaurant in the train station. After dinner, we went back to XMD and walk around abit before we call it a day. [Taiwan, Hualien Day 2: 16.11.2009] Woke up extremely early that day, worrying that we might missed the train. Had breakfast @ the Hotel (which was goddamn pathetic -_-) and took the subway to Taipei main station for the train to Hualien. IIRC, the ride was about 3 hours so we spent alot of time doing silly things, sleeping and munching. Didn't manage to eat their 火车便当 because by the time the the trolley reaches all, they are all sold out. :/ Reached Hualien and when we exit from the station, we saw the lady host of our Minshu, 石头之家！ 刘阿姨 is a super nice lady! Together with her is 何先生 who was our tour guide for 2 days. We went to tour around Hualien even before going back to the minshu to place our stuff. But I think the arrangement was good because we only have 1 day in Hualien and we shouldn't waste any precious time!  We visited the Taroko Gorge, and the entire place is about rocks and mountain. Thou it's only rocks but we spent alot of time there. Haha... sorry to say I am not much of a sight-seeing person but it was still quite enjoyable! And of course how can we go on without food? Ling mei will be the 1st to complain! Haha... we ate so much that I have already forgotten what we had! >< I can only recall: Muachee, 小笼包, bao, bubbletea, pork rib noodle, 鲁肉饭， 葱抓饼，大肠包小肠，臭豆腐 and Sashimi! Before going back to the minshu, our tour guide brought us to some shop and bought lotsa firecrackers and fireworks! I always love fireworks but able to set them off ourselves is quite out of the world. Especially in HK and SG. HAHA! No pictures of the playing of firecrackers and fireworks with me thou. We had a blasting time there but I was too afraid to stand near them. I ran away each time I lit them up. T-T After fireworks, we get to release 孔明灯 also! How fun! We scribble lotsa wishes (and rubbish :P) onto the lantern before releasing it up the sky! It flew really high up and took a loooooong time before it disappear completely from our eyes! Lastly before we called it a day in the super big and comfortable minshu, we get to paint and deco our very own pebble. Aiya needless to say I drew Rilakkuma on it. :P 刘阿姨 said that the view from our room can see the sunrise around 6am? (Can't remember the exact timing). I was quite determine to shoot the sunrise so I couldn't really sleep well that night worrying that I might missed it. >< But too bad. The sky was dark and rainy at 6am so sunrise was almost out of sight. :( [Taiwan, Hualien X Taipei Day 3: 17.11.2009] 刘阿姨 prepared our breakfast the next day! It was simple but yet tummy filling. We visited her little farm and had a good laugh at the animals that she kept. :P We were set to go pick up jades at this pond area in Hualien. It was rainy and the water was icy cold but that didn't stop us from stucking out hands into the water and look for jades. I pick up aloooooot of stones but only a few of them are jades. They were really small so not much of a value but for keepsake. We had last minute shopping for muachee and lunch before heading to the train station for our train back to Taipei! :) Thou it was only for a day but I am sure Hualien left a really deep impression in us! Minshu - Stone Home (石頭的家): http://www.sutohome.com/  Back in Taipei in time for dinner! :) But the rainbow hotel really screw up our booking. 1st night we got the room for 5pax. But after we got back from Hualien, they gave us a room for 3 pax and forcefully placed a pathetic additional bed. Then another 1 pax how!?! After a long "talking" with the hotel recep, they compensate us with an additional room for me and ling mei and promised to give us a 5-bed bedroom the next day. UGH After dinner, we decided to go for KTV! Initially wanted to try cashbox but the place looks really intimidating plus they charges are rockethigh! In the end we chose Holiday KTV which was much family style, reasonable priced and comes with freeflow DRINKS & FOOD! Woohoo! KTV ended around 12plus am, we make our way back to the hotel and call it a day. ZZZZ! [Taiwan, Taipei Day 4: 18.11.2009] Planned to go Wufenpu tat day but during the day time, we made our way to some major shopping mall and shopped hours in HANDS. I was down with fever but recovered quickly with panadol. (damn blardy expensive because I bought it in the shopping mall O:) Made our way to Wufenpu in the late afternoon and shopped till nightfall. Must really give in to the rest of the girls when it comes to shopping. HAHA! I AM THE OLDEST AMONG THEM OKIE!? Can't blame me la.  After Wufenpu, we made our way back to the hotel and place down our 战利品 before making our way to Shilin night market. We were all famished when we reached there. So we ate... 大饼包小饼, Oyster egg, chicken backside (my fav!!), superbig chickenchop, mango ice and much more till I can't recall. HAHA! Since Shilin also has shopping area, the girls went frenzy again. I was literately dragging my feet because I have used up all my energy for the day! [Taiwan, Taipei Day 5: 18.11.2009] One of the must-visit place for the girls. Hello Kitty Cafe! We took a weebit long time to get to the cafe because we mix up the correct station to alight. :P The place is gorgeous! I remember going to another Kitty theme cafe a few years back but it's in Danshui instead. The cafe is definitely not bimbo-stic at all! The food is really good and the portion is super huge! I don't think anyone will go there without a camera. Haha we say this lady taking picture throughout our meal. I wonder did she manage to eat her meal at all? Nothing stops me from getting cute stuff! I bought their signature kitty plush! That day was Kaijing & Wenbei last day in Taipei so they have to grab the chance to do last minute shopping in Ximending! We sent the girls to where they wait for the Freego bus to the airport. We bade goodbye to them and make our way to 阿忠 for their famous 面线！ We decided to dabao back to the hotel together with bubble tea and braised chicken wings. Yums!   After dinner we made our way to Raohe night market and spent the rest of the night there. The girls bought a whole lot of stuff and I only bought a hair accessories IIRC. :P So proud of myself! [Taiwan, Taipei Day 6: 19.11.2009] Decided to try their salon for a haircut. The place seems rather "wulu" but service was superb! I didn't cut mine too drastically but Ailing and Peili both had really nice cut! Ailing even got tempted and booked to have her hair permed the next day. Hee After the hair cut, we made our way to SOGO for a little high end shopping. I bought a blusher from Jill Staurt (OMG THE CASE IS TO DIE FOR!) and had afternoon tea + late lunch @ AFTERNOON TEA TEAROOM. LOL. Left Sogo before sunset thinking that we can catch the sunset @ Danshui but it was raining and super cold that evening and we missed everything! >< Can't even go near the 码头 because it's dark and it was rainy with strong wind.  Danshui was the last place I thought I will buy anything but in the end the girls bought quite a bit of stuff. Haha! I am impressed with their shopping instinct! We had a little supper there before heading back to the hotel in a cab. Drop dead tired! >< [Taiwan, Taipei Day 7: 20.11.2009] My last day in Taipei! Because I will be taking a different flight from the girls, I have to leave about 2 hours ahead. After breakfast, Ailing went for her hair appointment while Peili and me wonder around Ximending aimlessly. Still manage to do some last minute shopping before Peili sent me off to take the Freego bus. (Thanks babe for accompanying me! :)) Didn't managed to see Ailing's new hairstyle. Hopefully soon! :) Flight back to HK alone was smooth but lonely. Because I didn't chose my seats online, I requested for aisle seat and was given the last seat on the last row. How nice. :/ I miss the Husband terribly because he is always there with me on a flight holding my hands and making me smile. Sigh. The Husband was at the HKIA to fetch me and I can't wait to see him after being away for almost a week! But the airline sure hates me because my baggage was the last to arrive! BAH! Saw The Husband and I can feel tears in my eyes already. Miss him so much! Thou I brought my netbook along and the hotel has internet but nothing beats hearing his voice and seeing him in person! (Oh I just got back my mobilephone bill and our phone calls chalk up to SGD200! *gasps!*) It was a really fun trip overall and I am really happy to be able to travel with my besties! It was like a dream come true. A graduation trip that finally fulfilled after a long while! :) Thanks besties for giving me so much beautiful memories! I love all of you and looking forward to many trips together with you all! <3 After settling down back in HK and finally managed to finish washing all my laundry, the Husband and I were set to fly to Beijing from 28 Nov - 5 Dec. He went there to attend some training but stayed in the hotel provided while I decided to tag along but stayed with my relatives instead. My main purpose of going there is to celebrate the Husband's birthday while he insisted of me joining him because he doesn't want me to be in Hk alone. <3 Nothing fanciful in Bejing other then the crazily cold weather and non-stop eating and shopping. I gained an obscene amount of weight in Beijing instead of Taiwan and now I am still trying to shed them off! T-T   That's it for the trips! OMG I can't believe I spent 2 days to write this super long entry. I hope it doesn't flood your screen with my wall-of-text and pictures and many typo which I am too lazy to check! Sunday, December 06, 2009 8:59 PM Feeling super disoriented after coming back to Hong Kong. The unpacking and mountains of unwashed winter clothings are driving me crazy. The one week in Beijing was a test for me. Then I realise... I CAN'T DO WITHOUT INTERNET! No facebook, no twitter, no blogs, hardly able to check email... omg I don't know why they ban fb/tweet/blogspot in china. I think it's insane. Thank god the Husband is not working in China! >< Will try to blog about my trip to TW and BJ. Tuesday, November 24, 2009 11:05 AM  OMOCHA-LAND'S COLLECTION 3 IS UP!!! Please show some love! <3 I am back from Taiwan with the besties since Saturday but my mind have yet to settle down. Just finished all the unpacking, washing and cleaning but the Husband and I will be flying off again to Beijing this weekend. As much as I love travelling, I start to dread about coming back home with a thousand things to be done. Packing, Unpacking, Washing, Cleaning. And the cycle goes on and on. -_- We spent a bomb on winter clothings because ours are all left in Singapore. UGH I shouldn't have brought them back but because our Hong Kong place's waredrobe is so tiny, I have to bring back winter clothings to Singapore during summer and summer clothings during winter. Now that it's winter, we have to survive in our 1 and only winter jacket until it's time to go back to Singapore and pick them up again. Will post about the Taiwan trip when I am back from Beijing! Thursday, November 12, 2009 12:09 PM I am still floating in Bags Heaven! But before that I must reveal what the Husband bought for me incase people thinks that he really gave me the paperbag only. HAHA! Presenting to you... DAMIER NEVERFULL MM! <3  The look at it still makes my heart skip abit! I love it SOOOOOOOO MUCH I think I gotta buy insurance for it. HAHA! I couldn't bear to use it yet... Still thinking if I should treat the bag with protection 1st before using... and I need to get a base shaper or bag organiser to maintain it's shape! I love the red interior! It's so bright that it's blinding me! I love the smell of brand new bags but of course nothing beats the smell of calf leather. The smell on my Miu Miu still makes me high. :P Thanks once again to the dearest Husband!! I love the bag but I love you more! <3 Since we are on bags already, here I am to share the other bags that I wish I can get when I start working again!  I love damier print! And I have the biggest crush on Trevi a long way back but it doesn't seems very fesible for me to get a Trevi when I am not working. And the Speedy 30? I think 30 is a superb size! I got a 25 Mono from my parents many years back as a birthday gift and I couldn't bear to use it! T-T If you know me well enough, I am super protective towards gifts from my parents. I don't know why. That day while getting the Neverfull, the SA asked if we would like to purchase the Trunks & Bags Mini Pochette to go with the bag. The Husband said yes immediately but I held back because I really didn't want him to spend so much. Thou it's the very last piece and condition was perfect, I hesitated. NOW I REGRET IT SO MUCH I WANNA CRY! It's a limited edition and won't be restocking! The Husband offered to help me get it but his workload is insane and have been knocking off late. (LV closes at 8pm!! so blardy early!) Sigh. I should have bought it right on the spot that day. But I only decided to pamper myself a little after receving bonus from COMPASS. I hope they still has it this Saturday! Oh I would like to get the ring keychain or a accordeon chain to hook my hp pouch or keypouch to the Neverfull! Not sure if it's easy to get them in store as I heard they don't keep stock for these...  Now which girl doesn't love to own a Bbag?!?!?! They have this in pink in the past season. I hope they will have a similar pink shade when I have the money to get it! :/  I happened to pass by the Marc Jacob store in Thailand Airport. All of the bags are so pretty! The one with doves is lovely. <3 And even the accessories is so pretty! Love Miss Marc! And Tricia, the bow necklace reminds me of you!  The new Coach Poppy series is really pop and sweet. When I was in Japan, they have just launched the Poppy series with Poppy-Chan! I saw this bag sooooooooo nice but so expensive la! And there goes the SA saying... "Only in Japan!". I know, because of the price! I really had fun Window(s) shopping online. Friday, November 06, 2009 3:57 PM Can't believe it was only last year (1st Nov 2008) when we both walk down the aisle together. Still remember the day of our customary wedding... It was a rainy morning and the groom was late because he totally forgotten about the hand bouquet. :O When I thought the worst is over, I realise I have no appetite for anything and I kept felt like puking THE ENTIRE DAY. I was simply too nervous. But when we both step into the ballroom, all the nervous-ness in me just miraclely disappeared within the thin air. And I thought when the banquet is over, we could spend quality time together in the pre-soak-with-rosepetals-bathtub and have the nice late supper which the hotel have delivered up to our bridal suite, the groom fell asleep in his half drunk state. I was left standing next to him, still with all my makeup on and hair all stiff and frizzy. I thought to myself... what's next? After spending a long time in the bathroom, I came out and stood infront of the mess in the suite's living room wondering if I should pack up or eat 1st. I pack up, clean up, stuff the gowns and albums into the bags, lock the angbaos in the safe, watch and cringe at the morning highlight video and fell asleep. Totally forgotten about the supper. (There goes our cod fish and fried bun with chillicrab sauce.) We didn't even make it to our Honeymoon @ Bali due to security reason. Although we both know that the wedding wasn't perfect, I am still very happy to go through it with you. And now that we have come this far, baby, I wanna thank you for everything that you've given to me. Life wasn't all smooth sailing when we are so far away from home. But we both know we have each other to rely on no matter what. I look forward to see you every end of the day because even if we stay under the same roof, you spend long hours working hard in office to provide all my needs. You support whatever decision I make. You get me involved in all parts of your life. I know that if it wasn't you, I won't be what I am today. There is only one regret in my life... which is getting to know you a little too late. But it's okie because good things can wait. It's okie because your love healed all my wounds. I love you baby! I love you so much that my heart bursted and recovered for a million times. Happy 1st Year Anniversary to the both of us! <3  On the 31st Oct, the Husband dated me to Disneyland for a special Halloween night. I can never understand the fun of dressing up and visiting crowded places to "celebrate" Halloween. I usually spend it like how I will spend the rest of my 364 days. As we all know the ticket to Disneyland is blardy expensive, the evening tickets isn't any better. The evening admission is from 6pm to 11pm so we had early dinner and slowly make our way there. At the entrance, we saw someone selling those Halloween headbands so we decided to get 1 each just for the sake of getting into the mood. :P Other then the parade, the dressing of the staff and the deco, everything else was the same. But we still enjoyed and had fun playing the same rides all over again! (No scary rides for me thou. I can't take it! ><)   (Alot of pictures of us because the Husband ask me why recently I havent been taking photos together. You know, when you start using SLR... you hardly can do self portrait unless with the help of mirror or strangers. ><) No matter how many times we have seen the fireworks before, it still look so beautiful to us! And of course the Carousel ride... Thou I still find it silly to "celebrate" Halloween, the Husband's decision to bring me to Disneyland make me a very happy girl. <3 Recently the Husband bought me this Rilakkuma charm which I have been eyeing for the longest time. I wanted to use it but iPhone doesn't have any holes for me to hang it and I was worried of dirtying it at the same time. So I took out my Q-pot case again... :O The very last time I used it, I stain the back of the case with some ink which I have no idea where it came from. I tried ways to remove it but it only cause more damaged to the case so I stop using it already. But that day when I took it out, the stain disappeared!! I don't know where it went to lor but since the stain is gone, I can finally use it again!  Perfect match right!! Love how the pink and purple match! But I am still worried of getting the both of them dirty. -_- And guess what we found?!  Rilakkuma everywhere in HK can?! Even tissue box also have! The quality of the tissue is quite good leh. Not inferior kind! 2 ply! And thanks to Joce's reminder, I managed to buy the cute Rilakkuma fridge from Circle K! Also thanks to the Husband for being persistent in finding it when the Circle K at the MTR station doesn't carry them.
