Omocha-Land Collection 5 & Updates!
Wednesday, December 23, 2009 10:27 AM

Omocha-Land Collection 5 is up! The last collection of 2009! :)

Wanna start off by saying a million thank you to my dearest sister, April and Linus! Although I am not in Singapore but they have no forgotten about me during this festive season! :) And so happy that Rilakkuma reminds April and Linus of me. HAHA!

It's amazing how things like this touches my heart. Guess being away from Singapore make me cherish my family and friends more! :)

The other day I ordered 2 Pursetogo for my Miu and NF and it came after a week! The website state it takes 2-4 weeks but I got them really fast! Happy!

Yay! No more saggy NF and messy things in the bags! <3

That day I was digging into my mountains of Rilakkuma collection and found this keychain that I bought sometime back!

Rilakkuma and LV are made for each other! :P Look at the matching colors!

On Saturday, we went popby Chocoolate to collect the Bape X Chocoolate dotted hoodie that we pre-ordered previously. We both got 1 each so we can have couple hoodie! :)

The cut for mine is perfect but I think the one the Husband got may be a little small but pre-order items are not allowed to exchange. Bah. :(

After coming back from Beijing and the beginning of the very cold winter, the toes on my right foot starts to swell and it got worse this week. Finally decided to see a doctor yesterday night and I am surprise to know that it's not Cellulitis.

WARNING: GRAPHIC IMAGE! LOL

Now my toes look 1.5 times worse from the picture. (Anyway it's the right foot.)

It's exactly the same problem I had last winter. I was diagnose with Cellulitis back then and yesterday when I went back to see another doctor, he said it's not Cellulitis because Cellulitis will not cause all 5 toes and the foot bed to be red and swollen.

Super WTF can? Why all the doctors in Hong Kong can't give me a constant diagnosis? Last year when I have shingles, I have to see 3 different doctors for 4 times before being diagnosed with Shingles. Before that I was told that I am suffering from allergy wtf can?

The doctor yesterday told me it may be Rheumatism (wtf Rheumatism on toes?!) and if the swell doesn't subside I have to go for a blood test. Sofa-king lost.

I went to see the doctor wearing my usual crocs maryjane but it was exceptionally tight yesterday because of the swell and the foot bed was uncovered so my foot was bascially exposed to the super cold air.

When I got home, I went straight to shower in hot water because anything below hot can cause frostbite no kidding!

While showering, I notice my toes got more tighten and red and worse of all, sofa-king itchy!!! SO ITCHY THAT I CAN'T STOP rubbing it! (I can't scratch because the skin is already very vulnerable from the swell.) I started crying in the bathroom and shouted for the Husband and ask him what to do to stop the itch. I quickly jump out from the shower and continue rubbing them and crying at the same time. Good lord.

No words can describe how blardy itchy it was. The itch was making me confuse and I don't know what to do but to rub and stare at it. I decided to apply medication oil but no use! The itch got worse and I totally lost control of my nerve. My leg couldn't stop twitching and it's scaring the shit outta me.

I frantically googled for "itchy red swollen toes" and was lead to CHILBLAINS. WTF it's exactly the same! The symptoms and the picture! WHAT CELLULITIS and RHEUMATISM! I don't know what the hell the doctors are doing la but they are absolutely wasting my money and time and making my situation worse!

From the situation, it seems like the blood vessels got confused by the drastic change of temperature. So I start to rotate my foot and exercise them to let the blood circulate. I put on a thick socks too to keep it warm. After about 30 minutes of non-stop exercising, the itchy starts to go away. THANK GOODNESS!! I WAS THIS CLOSE TO CHOPPING OFF MY TOES OKIE TO EASE THE ITCH!

I force myself to sleep and this morning the itch is gone and the swell went down abit! I can finally bend my toes!

PLEASE don't let me experience that kind of itch again! IT ALMOST KILLED ME.

Enough of all this terrible foot story.

I don't think I will be udpating again before Christmas so...

HERE I WISH ALL MY FAMILY, FRIENDS AND READERS A HAPPY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! :) XOXO!

kdrama withdrawal syndrome
Wednesday, October 14, 2009 10:34 AM

These days I spent most of my time staring at the tv watching 2 super nice korea dramas.

Queens of Housewives / My Wife Is A Superwoman

My Fair Lady / Lady Castle

(not sure why they never fix a name for their show!) Anyway both also starring Yoon Sang Hyeon(*swoon*), which look sooooo much like Takuya Kimura! I love Yoon Eun Hye too! She look so pretty in My Fair Lady and all her outfits in the show are gorgeous beyond words. Totally recommend both dramas. Even the Husband are crazy about Queens of Housewives. HEE!

Other than watching kdrama, I was fussing over my gigantic boil that grew right in the middle of my forehead. I may not have the best complexion around but I rarely have such serious case of acne. But thank god it's getting better now. All thanks to SKII's miracle water. :P

The night before the boil appear, I suddenly had high fever which I think is related to it. It's like an infection of some sort. So I popped 2 paracetamol before going to the bed early.

Luckily the fever subsides the next day so I am well enough to go Shen Zhen with the Husband and his colleagues.

This is our 2nd time going to Shen Zhen but to a different part if it. Basically it's a eat shop walk trip! The serving of the food there was extremely huge!! And they are all like 10 course meal lor!

I didn't manage to take the pictures of all the food because everytime after 4 dishes, I will be too busy eating instead of snapping pictures. :P

Was feeling restless throughout the trip because I just recovered from the fever and the medication I took makes me sleepy. Sigh.

The itinerary of the day was: Lunch -> Shopping -> Mega bookstore -> Oil painting cultural village -> Dinner -> Home

Initially we promised to join the rest for KTV but we are super tired by the end of the day already. Must be a sign of ageing! HAHA!

Sometimes I want to update my blog like everyday with some random stuff and photos but not sure why I dislike the idea of having to post short entry. >< Maybe I should if not it seems like my blog is getting stagnant.

Can't wait to go for our short getaway! Totally in need of some massage, good food and cheap shopping!

Countdown: 7 days to Bangkok! <3

Down down down
Tuesday, April 14, 2009 9:51 AM

It 1st started with a haircut, and end up with 2 sick cats at home now.

Saturday the husband had a haircut appointment @ Hairdo. His haircut always take about 2 hours to finish (talk about efficiency...) so I decided to join him for a haircut too. I really asked for it leh... backside itchy.

1st, the haircut was kinda horrible... I can't blame the hairstylist. It's me who can't style my hair for nuts (too much layering!). My fringe is SUPER (WITH A CAPTIAL SSSSSSSSSSSS!) untame and I look like shit no matter how I tried to make it right (I always does anyway...) I can't wait to do some treatment or rebond or whatevershit to save my hair now... but before that, I hope we recover from our food poisoning / stomach flu soon.

After the haircut, I felt like I am gonna collapse after I left the salon. I am not sure why actually but I suspect it's the hairwash massage I received earlier on that make me feel very uncomfortable. I never had a hairwash that last longer than a haircut. The guy attending to me is either 1) too professional , 2) totally hates me, 3) want to leave a deep impression on me, by exerting so much force in the "massage". I could almost felt dents on my head and shoulder. harharhar.

After the haircut, I told the husband I have to find somewhere and rest. The crowd in Time Square isn't helping and I don't want to faint in the crowd and get stomp all over. We settled in Starbucks and wait for dinner time with CY (husband's ex coll) and her bf...

We had dinner at this really decent Chow Zhou restaurant which is tuck in some quiet corner in CWB. Older than me but food is pretty good. Love the oyster omelette and "old-fire" soup...

Went home after dinner and I felt like I just got hit by a truck. The fever got worse the next day and hit 40 deg c. Luckily I have some spare med at home so I pop some paracetamol and pills to get rid of gastric gas. (too bloated!) I really hate vomiting so I tried to stop myself for doing so. Luckily I got past that phase and my fever subside on Monday. But in the end it's the husband's turn.

He vomitted in the morning and diaheroa in the afternoon. I cook some boey/moey/teowchew porridge/water rice (aiya whatever you call it...) with some pork ribs, wolfberries and dried scallop in it... I cook it again at night as well as this morning as he got no appetite for the dinner we bought...

Poor baby is on MC today (yesterday was HK's public holiday) and he is sleeping soundly beside me... it pains me to see him like that but at the same time I am also extremely tired... I gotta cook, clean up (I just dug up the stuck basin with the "Stuff" he barf out yesterday, gahhhhhh!), change bedsheet... I think I am getting sick again...

Not that I am complaining... it's my duty as a wife (you really think wife so easy to be?!!?!?) and I really care for my husband but it's totally unfair for me when the whole world conveniently forgotten that I am sick too. Maybe it's my fault to have spread my virus to him. Sigh.

Ok la... here are some photos from 2 weeks ago... color up this life-less post.

Caught Fast & Furious 4 on the 4th. Love the movie and love Paul Walker.

Smiley World celebrating their anniversary... we went there a couple of times because it's just next to our apartment. Can't resist taking pictures everytime.

Bought this sneakers 2 weeks ago in Mongkok. Remember seeing this pair with Ailing mei but was comtemplating if I should get the patent red pair. Got the silver in the end as it's pretty safe in matching other colors.

I need rest. NOW.

UNbelievable-ble-ble-ble-ble-ble-ble-ble-ble-ble-ble-ble-!!! AHH!!

Just when I thought my shingles and allergy are recovering already...

MY BLARDY CELLULITIS ARE BACK OMFG!

On the same foot, same toes somemore! A I Y O!!!!

I felt my toes were hard and painful yesterday but I ignore it because I thought it's due to bad blood circulation as the weather was chilly. BUT it got worse today and my toes starts to swell omg. I can't believe my luck!!

It's either a punishment for saying a few entries back that I won't want to step into hk clinic, or the bacteria from my previous infection still stuck somewhere in the tissue. It's really getting me on my nerves leh.

Ever since I got cellulitis in Jan, my mood wasn't that fantastic already. Then came shingles and allergy, I have zero mood for anything. From chatting online (sorry friends who have been trying to chat with me), to playing wii to even stepping out of the house, I have mood for absolutely NOTHING. All these illness are slowly killing me man. Grr!!

Staying at home also can have so much problem. I can't wait to move back to Singapore already. I HATE IT HERE. I seriously do NOW NOW NOW!!!

Very much alive.
Wednesday, March 04, 2009 4:00 PM

Oh don't you love iphone's camerabag?!

So the pain didn't kill me afterall. It almost did but it didn't...

I went to the doctor for the 4th time on Monday but a skin specialist this time. I was told that my back rash was a nasty allergy from salonpas (w h u a t?!!?!?!?!) while the rest on my right boobie (harharhar ya on my blardy boob!) is shingles. Wah, after wasting almost 1.5k hkd and now I was told a different story. SO all along I have been applying the wrong kind of medicated cream on my allergy rash! Ugh.

But I suspect my back rash is a mixture of allergy and shingles. But who knows, you tell me? I just hope the rash stop spreading and stop giving me the burning sensation. Will be finishing my last pill tonight and see how it goes. Sigh. How can someone be so suay you tell me?! I secretly suspect HK's air hates me.

To summerise the whole shingles and allergy saga, it 1st started with a extreme backache and chestpain.

Doctor A: Gastric... too much gas. *prescribe gastric pills*

Didn't work. So I bought salonpas instead, thinking it's muscle ach. After removing it, found 2 big "pimples" on my back. A day later, the pimples turn into big patches of rash. My boobie also have! O m g. What could be worse. My chest hurt so much that I wanna die.

Back to Doctor A again: Oh it's shingles. *prescribe anti viral meds*

Next day, the pain and the rash didn't subside. We got a little impatient so decided to see another doctor from the same clinic. (I don't know why they like to call themselves Kenneth so much!! 2 doctors of the same name. What's the odds?!)

Doctor B: Shingles... the medications are only useful if it's taken 48 hours after symptoms appears. *prescribe shingles cream to apply*

And he mention it's better if I see a skin specialist the next day so he did a referral thing and make an appointment for me.

Doctor C: It looks like allergy on the back and shingles on the front. The pills shouldn't have much effect but just finish them. And keep applying the shingles cream. Nothing much you can do now but since you're not working, sleep more and drink more water to build up the immune system. *prescribe allergy cream and some soap for shower*

One of the night I woke up at 3am trying to take my meds and apply the cream, I suddenly felt my world is spinning and almost black out in the toilet. Luckily the husband found me squatting down looking really pale and quickly carry me back to the bed and apply medication oil on my forehead. Must be the mixture of painkiller and sleeping pill.

I was telling the husband that I have the most boobies picture drawn in my medical card than anyone else. It's rather amusing. 1 doctor even use color pencil to color the drawing. harharhar. Never in my life I have flashed my boobs so many times to strangers! -_- Seeing a pair of boobs is bonus. But seeing a pair of boobs covering with blistered IS NOT. I wonder how the doctors handle their emotions.

Ugh. I think I have wasted too much time on misdiagnose (almost...) but I am still glad I am feeling better today. At least I have the energy to play Animal Crossing again. Thanks to Ranna. Haha. I had a good time plucking off weeds. The horror!

She gave me the bear hat! Too cute! And I caught new fishes today.

Thanks for all the well wishes and concern. Especially my hubby, parents+sister, in laws, Ailing mei and friends who have been calling, smsing, msning me everyday to check on me. Can't find someone better than my hubby who is willing to take leave and bring me to the doctor, waking up in the middle of the night and make sure I take my medicine. <3

Can't wait to step out of the house soon and go shopping this weekend!

What makes you happy?

Chickpeas does.

Blisterfied
Sunday, March 01, 2009 10:02 PM

The rash got worse and there are more blisters at my chest now. I can't sleep without the aid of sleeping pills and I am eating 3 kinds of pain killer now to stop the pain at my chest. The pain is from the nerve and no words can describe it other than stabbing and electric shock.

Waking up in the middle of the night twice just to eat medicine is not joke. Sigh.

Today I went to see the doctor for the 3rd time in less than a week and he refer me to a skin specialist tomorrow. I just hope there will not be any blood test (god knows how much I am afraid of needles!) and admit me or something.

Thank god for the hubby who takes care of me despite it's contagious. He never had chickenpox before, only vaccination so I am really afraid he will catch chickenpox from me.

Please let me recover soon. At least let the pain subside by tomorrow. It's killing me...

1st it's cellulitis and now shingles. Sigh. Just let me die aleady. :(

1 more day!
Thursday, January 22, 2009 10:21 AM

When you see sharkbag, it means I am coming back home! For only 4 days thou... but better then nothing! Still love to spend my cny with my family.

Last week was spend nursing my swollen toes. Didn't know an itch on one toe can lead to Cellulities. It 1st started to itch on one toe... den it start to swell.. and the swell spread to all the toes on my right foot and nearby area of the foot. It's painful and I could barely walk. Stubborn me refuse to see a doctor initially (and ya la, like I said in my previous few post, I refuse to see a HK doc!) but no choice since the Husband keep rushing me to see one.

You have to see the face of the doctor when he saw me toes. He was rather shock and said it look serious and spreading fast... make me scared lor! Initially he thought it could be diabetic but my parents don't have ma plus I am not really into sweet stuff what. Force me to take a blood sugar test... cost me a freaking 75hkd. :( 皮痒啦。好端端拿针来刺。Results turn out normal.

My dad informed our family doctor and he suggest me to take a blood test for whiteblood count. Wah lau no need so serious la. And god knows how much I scared of having to withdraw blood leh. The HK doc gave me tonnes of anti-biotics and allergy pills. I have fever too so got some panadols at the same time. That week was really hell. My taste bud can only taste bitter and my pee stinks! The doc says that if my fever can't subside and the swell refuse to go, he suggest me going to the hospital instead. (HK HOSPITAL?! Want my life ah!)

But thank god I am feeling better now! The swell is gone and I can bend my toes! It could be due to my crack heels. Open wound cause bacteria to get in and attack the tissue... Now don't think crack heels is nothing serious! You've been warned!

Anyway it's CNY again and it means my pervious makeup products are one year old! Since I only 扮靓靓 on CNY... just buy the standard few products before the big day. This year got more reason to make up also because a few of the Husband friends are getting married so might as well la!

Since everyone is raving about Majolica Majorca products and here is selling relatively cheaper than SG (if i am not wrong...) so I bought almost all from them lo.

1) Rilakkuma pouch!
2) Majolica Majorca eyeshadow
3) Majolica Majorca powder foundation
4) Majolica Majorca blusher
5) Majolica Majorca blusher container with hairpins. (recycle okie?! hahah)
6) Anna sui mirror and hairbrush (love anna sui design!)
7) Tweezer, hairclip and hairtie
8) Shiseido lash curler (been with me for the longest time!)
9) Majolica Majorca eyeliner
10) Majolica Majorca mascara

Love their cases leh. So pretty. Hee... Oh and I also ordered the hot pink skin79 bb cream. Have yet to try it since it's in Sg now... Hope it can helps to lighten my dark rings la!

Ok that's it! Prolly won't be blogging while I am in Singapore... so...

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR MY DEARS!!!
